The heck... Invaders can actually manipulate switches like that one? Uhhhh.. Well, he just basically spared you the trouble of doing that yourself. You definitely want that to happen at some point anyway. There is some crazy good stuff there that you can get now with zero issues.

The gate separating the round area with the two big enemies and the ascent up to the Grand Cathedral is permanently closed for me after I invaded someone while accidentally closing it. It looks like there's a small gap at the bottom of it. The switch says it is inoperable, but if I spam X, I can pull the switch just once, but nothing happens. It can't be pulled again until I respawn/reload.

Maybe I'll record a video.

He just made it really easy for you to
get the material which allows you to +10 a weapon
. You're super lucky, that part was a pain for me.

You can walk through a lot of the protruding architecture in the game, but that's negligible I guess. Since patch 1.02, however, pop-in and frame rate drops have gotten an awful lot worse for me.

Yeah, the cane is very weak compare to strength weapons. My current character is a skill/blood build and it was the only weapon to use until I got the chikage.

That would be cool - sent it over. Sharing it to youtube is what I've been doing. Works a treat.

It's a revelation after having to share stuff via the awful facebook integration that I used once or twice before.

*Really hard to join games or get other people to join. Also having passwords makes it even tougher to join games.

*There's this weird technical glitch that happens when entering some zones (poison area in Forbidden Woods, game glitches out like crazy with an ear shrieking sound). Also happens in Old Yarnham.

*Ton of bosses especially in the late game get locked into using one move.

*Whenever you equip a resistance rune you get status afflicted of that rune. So if you equip a Poison resistance rune your poison bar gets displayed and then it slowly starts to go down. Same thing for Frenzy.

*There's an item storage glitch where they don't fill up your stock even though have like 99x of an item. Had it happen to Yoshichan so he can fill you in more thoroughly (happened to me with Silver Bullets recently).

*Parts of Eileen side quests are bugged, she doesn't show up in places where she's supposed to.

*The elevator going down towards Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos no longer functions
 
Anyone noticed this: when running to the boss fight in the forbidden woods, I always got all my health back, I may have lost when I passed the last giant pig.

Thanks! I'll pass this along. I have experienced nearly all of these in some form or another myself.

I also added the worsened pop-in since patch 1.02. It was something I'd started to notice recently. Before, only items in the distance would occasionally just appear out of nowhere, but now it's also happening when I pan the camera. Stuff directly around me is just coming into view when it should have been there already.

Eileen not showing at all for her quest chain even after you talked to her in Central Yharnam.

She didn't appear at Gascoigne's location at all, I only find a single hunter there that she's supposed to fight against. Apparently from browsing on the Internet some people are having this issue as well.

Really annoying considering it is through her you can get one of the best weapons in the game.

It's pretty hard to do it the other way :/

Had like 4 random people through the bell now and they all died...
I usually died shortly after, trying to do the tactic you suggested.
 
lol, if you attack Gilbert enough times he'll stop talking to you. does it happen with other npcs?

also, how do you get to the item near the roof of V. Amelia's room? I killed her like 5 or 6 times but I noticed that only now. I even thought that I explored everything in that location.
 
Been doing a bit of NG+ and am actually mowing right through it so far. Feels good to go in feeling powerful, whereas before I got squashed like a bug over and over.

in the defiled chalice dungeon... Souls games are known for being "fair" but that fight was leaning a whole lot towards the bullshit end of the scale. Fuck that fight, especially when youre not specced for holy sword cheese.

You can score yourself a fancy mace weapon and face-off with an optional boss

. If so, try to figure out cause-and-effect. Is is actually pretty clear and then you can come up with counters.
You are basically being fried by a local version of The Eye of Sauron. Keep out of sight, using the walls and whatever else cover available and you don't get burned

There's an easy way to
kill the hunter.
Go up and grab the key from the chest, get to the other side and climb up the ladder, wait until the hunter is gone.Than you go down and open the door, you have to lure him to the end of the brigde.Jump down and a bossfight starts, the hunter will drop down as well and dies.

Not really, apart from opening a few shortcuts to the prison building and an optional boss.

There's a bug that occurs after dying where the camera stays above your bloodstain and you can take no action aside from panning the camera and changing items. You cannot even pause the game, and there is no way to respawn to collect your echoes.

I had this happen when I was ringing the small resonant bell and figure it has to do with that.

There's also the glitch regarding character builds (body type) being ignored and set to Standard despite whatever you choose after exiting the game and loading up the file.
