Bloodborne |OT3| I Cane, I Saw, I Conqu- YOU DIED

OK so I'm confused. After beating
4th boss/amelia, I went to the left of when you look at amelia's entrance, through a small/short cave, through a forest of snipers and 4 legged beasts (basically dogs) into some place called Herwick or Harmick something or other. I lit the lamp and fought some crazy people nearby then went to my dream. Now I can't get back to that place? I manually ran back from Cathedral Ward and went on the lit lamp and still can't go to it from my dream...
 
Woot. Platinum get. Now to go on to ng+ or start over with a strength build? Hmm you keep the
yarnham stone
, Wonder if it does anything.

Trying out Ludwigs Holy Blade and Kirkhammer but they both suck donkey balls in comparison. Less range, slower attacks, waaaaaaaaay less ability to stunlock opponents or take them to the ground (strange, because you'd think both their transformations would be heavier than the axe).

Que? Have you used the L2 swings in the greatsword mode? I haven't seen anything of comparable stunlocking ability from any other weapon I've tried and I've been using the Axe as my main weapon all to the way to NG+.

Check out the headstones to the left of the one you normally use.
 
After several tries; i finally beat A
melia. I gave up in the end, and summoned some people to help me slay her.

After that, i explored a bit and found another boss. I may have overleveld, but after the last boss, the W
itches
were too easy.

yeah, i used the axe for most of the game, but Ludwigs +10 with some gems is beastly

my build right now:

VIT 50
END 40
STR 30
SKL 14
BLD 6
ARC 7

using Hunter Axe and Ludwigs Holy Blade. Not sure whether it'd be better to go for 50str first or balance out STR and SKL since i guess the latter is giving me a little more damage per point until the softcap, and Ludwig's is B/B scaling. Probably going to just stick with these two weapons and the starting pistol for the most part
 
Is it just me or is the PvP with the current healing recovery time completely broken? Of course all the scrubs are healing and it is extremely annoying and basically impossible to punish.

One 'hit' of frenzy is enough to fill most of the bar. If you see it, have the bar rise, then run and hide behind a wall you'll notice that.

It makes it really, really hard to avoid having it fill up since it's not lenient at all.

1) where is the item that lets me attach runes?

2) where is the vicar in the cathedral? ive the 10k key thing, no idea where he's at though...

Its a slower shittier version of the L2 on the extended axe though. Stuns for the same length of time. Not to mention axe viscerals will either plant them to the ground or throw them back depending on mode, either of which can be spammed. The visceral on Ludwigs is a useless joke.
 
Well I just scored my platinum :).
I have to say I love the game and it's a contender for game of the year for me until the Witcher. But I felt that compared to the other souls games it was a bit too easy and the multiplayer was not so good. It was my quickest platinum of the from soft series but that could be because I'm seasoned. I thought the artwork and boss design were incredible. It doesn't top dark souls but I don't think it was meant to.

I've only observed red eyes in Old Yahrnam, when those cloak covered beasties howl/scream and get all their buddies nearby hunting for your ass. I'm pretty sure it is some kind of aggression buff caused by the howls.

I didn't note any kind of damage buff or increased toughness, but if there is one creature with red eyes around, you can kinda count on there being more and actively coming for you.

I've posted many destiny and a few Bloodborne videos and they never get viewed either. Probably just too many. Or maybe need to have better titles / description and add tags. But I'm too lazy since you have to do that on a PC most likely.

boss guy already forgot the name... is there a crazy trick to getting him in phase 2? Can't figure where to go and tried jumping down..yeah that didn't work
 
A bit late to the game but just finally got my PS4 and Bloodborne, booted the game up for the first time tonight and IT'S FUCKING GOOD TO BE BACK.

Got my ass handed to me a few times being impatient in the first section of the city, but beat the Cleric Beast on my first try. Against my own wishes I'm going to call it a night, a successful first night, and get out while I'm ahead lol. Already smitten by another Souls game...

Don't worry, most of mine don't have many and all but one I can attribute the views to fellow GAFers.

One of mine is nearing 2K though, which is odd in comparison to all the others hardly breaking 50 lol

Edit: In fact, no others broke 50. Most are in the teens :P

. After countless encounters where I tried the parry, I switched to a simple tactic: just walk towards her when she's attacking. Did it on the first try. I can't believe how easy it was:

As you can see in the video I almost died from poisoning because I didn't realized I was. I really wish they move the status alteration UI in a more visible area like the previous games.

For BSB I literally just rushed in and R2ed her to death. It was disappointing

after you lock him up in the room, try going all the way up the stairs and look to the right. there should be another room you can drop down from.

By useless joke you mean a hard hitting attack that 1 shots most mobs before they can touch you because of it's stupid long reach?
