Hey look it's Dio, the villain.

Who?

The first part of the ep. where Hol Horse tries to kill Dio takes place much earlier in the manga. If it were adapted in an earlier ep. it would've been a nice forshadowing/build up.

Regardless, someone got a snapshot of Hol Horse's fingers up Pol's nose from this ep?

It wasn't much earlier, it was between the Alessi and D'arby fights.

I loved that they still kept that special ending they used for Oingo Boingo and made it for Boingo and Hol Horse. Hahahahaha. Kinda meh episode outside of the cool intro with Dio.

Damn. When you pledge fealty to Dio-sama he expects you to die for him. I guess Hol Horse didn't get the memo. Lol at how Boingo's stand drew Hol Horse.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Stardust Crusaders 36

This recent episode was pretty hilarious I gotta say. Also another instance of Polnareff being unusually smart/genre-savy. I guess there is an explanation for why Dio has basically done nothing this whole season but it still kind of sucks he's been so absent. Like it's been almost a century dude, you still don't have that body under control? Weak!

I'm also guessing Hol Horse learned about Avdol's survival a long time ago? Hearing somebody I shot in the head survived would leave me legit shook and I would have liked to have seen Hol Horse shook over it. This whole encounter should be a chance for Avdol to get his comeuppance on Hol Horse but I suspect he's going to be criminally underutilized as he's been all season :/

At least Avdol is seen, unlike Kakyoin.

I personally don't like Mondatta's Stand.

Like it's fairly useless. It doesn't change the outcome in any way because even if they didn't read it the events are fated to happen anyway. It does nothing except make events that are unreasonable, reasonable because hey, they had to happen.

And by that same merit why do the people using it think it gives them an advantage? It doesn't matter if they can see into the future if they can't change it.

I assume DIO's healing process only really started when he woke up and got out of the coffin and he was just kinda dormant before that.

Well I'm pretty sure it's kinda hard to find fresh human blood to heal with while you're stuck at the bottom of the ocean

You can't change the outcome, but you can change the details. Jotaro's head exploded, it just happens that it was a fake Jotaro head that was actually Oingo, and had he taken off the disguise it would've been the real Jotaro that exploded. Then there's what will happen at the end of the battle...

What if instead of showing the future the Stand actually makes the future. Mondatta just can't control it, and thinks the Stand just passively predicts the future.

This episode made me realize that Polnareff and Hol Horse are kinda similar characters.

Also I loved how goofy it was.

That... was an episode. Honestly, I'm kind of tired of the constant concept that the main characters are walking together, when suddenly one of them will disappear from the group to engage with an enemy, leaving the others to wonder what happened and then very slowly attempt to rejoin the individual in question. At least it seemed that this time they were made aware that Polnareff was trying to seek out who was stalking them, but you'd think at this point they wouldn't just casually walk towards him and go, "I wonder what happened?" when enemy Stands are a constant threat.

I like that they went wilder with Mondatta's predictions compared to last time. Makes it more interesting to anticipate how they'll unfold, considering that they're supposed to be 100% correct on a surface level.

You'd think Polnareff would have learned by now.

That's the essence of JOJO

Well Lisa Lisa and Joseph stood outside while Caesar was getting killed. Everyone watched Dire get killed in Part 1 as well.

If it makes you feel any better, that sort of notion doesn't pop up in the series again outside of a couple of instances in Part 5, so it's not something you'll need to endure for much longer.

And in Part 3, this has happened in practically every enemy Stand encounter. My point is about the frequency.

I've pretty much come to terms with this series' change in structure in part 3, though that kind of repeated obliviousness always seems poor, each time. Coming up with different excuses to explain it away would be fine, but instead it opts for, "Hey, my partner's disappeared. Guess I'll just keep walking or stand here and wait for nothing."

Well you know what they say about the french and tongues.
Sigh apparently Hol Horse forgot
HE CAN CONTROL THE BULLETS else he could've killed Polnareff at least :P

Aaaaaaw, yess, Pet Shop in the Gates of Hell next week, the one I've been looking for the most.

2 Parter aswell, hella sweet.

Man I'm loving the way Iggy's voice sounds next episode.
Wonder what the censorship will be like since it's just straight animal violence.

dont worry, theres no 17 year olds smoking.

also i didnt really like this fight, and would've preferred if it had been just 1 episode. at least we get Pet Shop next

Yeah, we could be looking at a serious case of black blobs again next week.

Not that I care, the next episode could be 20 minutes of Pet Shop smirking and I'd be totally cool with it.
