This is an amazing game, but this chalice dungeon that cuts your HP in half has completely soured my experience. I'm moving on to something else because I simply cannot do it. This is the only time through the whole game where I feel it's unfair, there is literally no reason to halve the amount of HP. Just why?

The shortcut is basically right before the bridge. Like literally right before you walk across the bridge, you should see something you can stand on off to the side and it'll be pushed down when you do.
These guys are super tough yeah...Took me a while to clear that area.Good luck!

If you want to know...
Get grabbed or killed by one of those enemies with the bags. The ones that glow red/gain super powers when you hit them once. You'll get teleported to somewhere new and then go down some stairs to find the nun.

Lecture hall classroom (or whatever it's called) is the place to farm for echoes. 25000 in a few mins

I love the game to pieces, but I am not a fan of the Chalice Dungeons at all. I would rather have more varied actual game world with amazing level design.

Yea those bastards. They were so hard I assumed the entire castle was full of enemies that tough, turns out they're not. I was creepy crawling around like a coward for nothing lol. The spider things outside the castle are considerably harder than what's in the castle...

Never rescued Arianna,but I have her shoes I killed the person on the bed in ioeskas clinic but no cord.. And I already have the one from the old house.. Did I miss both missable ones :/ if so that is so stupid..

But the challenge should at least make sense in context of the game. This is the one place in the entire game that the game halves your HP, and there is absolutely no explanation for it. It's simply not fair.

Oh man that sucks....Regarding that fight i constantly dodged sideways and behind boss's back when it attacked,then hit it.Rinse and repeat.Also i use a cane-based character.

lol, it might be a little cheap but they can definitely still mess you up. That's really the only part of the game that I did something like that.

I used the White Church set myself. I think I read some other people had success with F. G's clothes and the Tomb Prospector set.

I spoke to her when I first got there early on in the game(After BSB). She was still there when I came back before doing Rom. I think killing Rom is what causes her to leave.
What the hell was i supposed to do? She came at me like the queen of the harpies.

Just keep a short range to the boss,avoiding tentacle attack and punches(but staying close) and hit the boss.Then avoid it's attacks and repeat.As long as you stay close to the boss, the boss won't ever use the

You can do it! I was stuck on them for a few days (basically trying for an hour or two at a time, with farm runs when needed). Once you get the timing and patterns it's not bad, it just really sucks when you put yourself into a stupid position to get rekt

Costs around 12,000 Echoes per level-up now, which is a bit of a drain. I'm in the Unseen Village, and I wish there was a way to get there straight from Yarnham. The big dudes with the sacks sure pack a mean punch.
