That can't be right though because she moved as soon as I left the area once. And that was LONG before I killed
Rom or even went into the Forgotten Woods.
 
So I went back to father Gs boss area and there was a
hunter. The plague doctor Hunter started fighting it and died. I was just watching so lol. But anyway,
did I fuck up? Will this mess with anything?

safe place
to send
the sane survivors? The clinic or the chapel?
I just sent
the courtesan(?)/ the woman w/e to the clinic and the old lady to the chapel
are they fucked either way :(?

I started with a cane but strayed from it mid-game for the Hunter Axe. Killed the bastard this try, I mixed up throwing items and charging up and into him whenever he charged.

Onto the fourth floor in search of the damned weapon.

Yeah, I've been enjoying helping people. I just kind of wish you got some free blood vials for doing it. If it's a failed run, you're kind of down a lot.

Chapel is the safe one, the ones sent to the clinic get changed....

generate one with seed: "ccir6bu8" and there'll be one in a coffin in the side area between the first boss and the second layer

also, that boss was a fucking nightmare for me too.
he's easy to poison with poison knives though, that helps

Saw Cleaver short form. Parries are key though

If you'd like a strategy:
Target fire thrower first. Parry dumbfuck samurai every time his stupid ass rushes you. Kill the fuck out of him second. When you're down to the last guy, this was my strategy. Slice once, he sidesteps, slice once, he sidesteps, continue until dead. He's going nowhere and no summoning bullshit final stretch
 
So I help a friend beat a boss and I have not beaten it so I get nothing and have to face them again?

Now I have another friend that wants to jump in and help so if we 3 total does the boss scale?

It was annoying because the
2nd witch kept hitting me with the blue capture spell and scooping out my brains while I was fighting off the clones.
I was never in any real danger, but it was annoying. Also, about the people you've saved, I only have the Chapel up so I found the
one chick in HG and the whore in Upper CW
. When I got back to CW however, I could only find the
whore who gave me her blood (haven't used it yet). So where is the chick from HG? I can't find her.

I love it, I hope for the sequel they expand upon it greatly, there's an amazing mode there that could be even greater with more randomization and different dungeon skins for variety.

I like the idea of sharing codes to get the loot that showed up in other players dungeons.

That's really weird.
She definitely didn't leave for me, and I definitely spoke to her when I first went, because I was really confused that she wouldn't say much. I left shortly after because the area was clearly harder than I was levelled for.
 
The more I think about it, the more I wish this had an additional twist on "NG+". I would love to start a fresh character but have the store stocked with everything I've found in the game otherwise.

So many weapons like the beast claws, chikage, and burial blade I would love to have at the start but having a fresh character makes it a pain in the ass to get them.
 
Oh. I have been fully converted to Ludwig's Holy Blade. That thing is great.


I still have the hunters axe as my secondary just because that 2 handed charge is pretty great but I have almost exclusively switched to Ludwig now.

Ah, forgot all about the seeds! Will generate that and end this nightmare.
There really wasn't any space for attacks on him, it's weird that
poison knives
suddenly become so important here.

Looks like I'll need to grind Ritual Blood (4)

Got punished for my greed for the first time. Carrying around 35000+ blood and "ahh just a little further into the forest". I get slaughtered and then die stupidly trying to get back. Goddamnit...

His first form gets parried pretty easily. For his second form, strike quickly once or twice and get the hell out of there, then repeat. Try dashing under him when he jumps to do the shockwave attack.
 
Definitely confused some on chalices. The only thing I get is making one with its base materials and going through. Can someone explain them some? When should I make one? When should I search for one?

What am I doing wrong here? I've completed Central Pthumeru Chalice multiple times now, but the bosses refuse to drop a
Lower Pthumeru Chalice.

All non-"root" chalices are pre-constructed and serve more or less as designed side content. Generally, non-root chalices will reward you with materials used to make more challenging chalices (the higher the depth number, the tougher the chalice). Root chalices are procedural generated and offer more traditional loot to find (runes, blood gems, weapon variants, etc). You can get more chalices by completing existing ones. Some are given as boss drops, and others are found in chests.

Isn't it free to use someone else's shared chalice if you've already generated one of your own? I thought that was the case

For the
collect all weapons/hunter tools
trophies does it have to be on one character, or can you collect them across multiple characters?

If you have defeated Vicar Amelia, head down the stairs from that boss fight and take a right when you get into the large courtyard with two giant enemies. You will come to a door that requires a password from the Amelia fight.
