Also, just went in with 3 friends against Martyr Logarius several times and we couldn't beat him. 2 lvl 62s and a lvl 55. We just got our asses kicked.

The strange thing is, when I faced him alone a couple of times, he didn't do much of anything except swing his axe (none of the projectile attacks). Suddenly he changed and became ten times harder. Very frustrating.

In coop against him backstabs are key, especially
when he's charging up his powerup move.

So I beat the game at around lv80 and did nothing but chalice dungeons as soon as I started ng+. Now I'm level 125 and ng+ is a joke, I may just blaze through the game and get the true ending and make ng++ my full guide/walkthrough run. It'll take care of the platinum, too, since it's the one trophy I need.

co-op buffs the bosses so they're actually much much harder with your buddies.

Am I almost at the end of the game?

Just beat the wet nurse, hunter's dream is on fire. I feel like I should be a higher level than I am lol. Only 70

yup, it's the end game. do the optional areas cuz i think they'll give you a challenge.

It's pretty lame how you only get more chalice materials in these dungeons. Need some loot to make them worthwhile. In the main-game you have shortcuts or loot right around the corner which keeps you driven. With Chalice's, there's nothing there, it's harder and the boss is probably BS lol

Yeah, overall I really don't like Chalices. It's a damn shame that the trophy they attached a boss fight with is so good as you need to put up with tons of bullcrap to get to it, and it's better than a lot of the actual main game fights.

Man, I played Eb completely different from all these videos. I stayed far away and tried to avoid the charges and went for the massive head damage on the slams, with 3-4 visceral attacks.

You finally get it?!

grats dude, its amazing, despite what works for most, a lot of people do things so differently and it works. Thats why Souls games are so good. So many ways to approach a fight.

That's what I thought, thanks guys!

Off to chainhurst I go! Are there any places I might have missed? I killed Paarl a while ago as well.

yea, i don't get the whole materials BS. the dungeons ain't easy, just let us progress.

yup,
Cainhurst, Upper Cathedral and Nightmare Frontier.
are probably the areas you missed cuz i did without a guide. enjoy!

Here's what a proper Ebrietas looks like:

I don't think its that simple because my kill which was pretty dang quick, I managed that right after turning the console on maybe the 2nd or 3rd attempt that day (she was whipping my ass the night before). I'm thinking you can beat it out of its phase change or maybe there's some other weird shit going on. I killed it with no aura or lasers.

Also I went at ML and the time I did beat him I stayed close parrying and there weren't any swords. This was right after an attempt where he did use them.

I really think the AI behavior is just random as shit. Maybe with this stuff on the extreme end but I'm sure a lot of people are just shutting down their consoles so its not a factor.

Have you been to
the Nightmare Frontier? Or Upper Cathedral? Or found the optional path in the Nightmare of Mensis?

yea, I beat her, micholash(can't remember his name), and wet nurse last night. Then beat Gher and Moon presence tonight.

It appears there is a memory leak that causes the bosses to lose move sets if the game is left on (possibly even in suspend mode) for ~12 hours. Check this out: http://www.reddit.com/r/bloodborne/comments/31bogg/how_to_active_bloodborne_easy_mode/
Doesn't sound like a memory leak as it would persist even in application shutdown and wreak havoc on the OS level. Sounds more like bosses are inheriting some basic AI functions from a single class. More than likely info about the player, their position, health, distance, rotation to the boss object, current button press, etc. Its the right way to code so you don't duplicate unnecessary code but if a variable isn't properly serialized and uses time for any of its math there's a good chance time may throw it off causing bugs. Or somewhere down that class line a pointer tries to reference a location in memory that doesn't exist and rather than throw a critical error they use a catch to prevent unwanted hangs for nulls. I don't know how time affects the game so this is purely speculation.

He actually changed and did a lot more ranged attacks before my buddies joined. It was very odd. I even decreased my insight too and it was still difficult as fuck

Fuck yeah dude. Grats!

Fav boss? Mine is easily
Vicar Amelia
. Best boss design, screams, boss room, difficulty, etc. For some reason I died to her 2x more than any other boss (5 total).

TOR wasn't easy for me but I did it in one attempt, if that makes sense?

I consider anything done in one attempt as easy. Every boss has a certain level of stress involved. I used a bunch of Vials on the TOR but beat it on my first try and never felt out of control.

Oh wow. If you die to a certain enemy their eyes look AMAZING when they glow with your blood echos.
Those insect things at Byrgenwerth

What are you guys farming in CDs for? The only thing I had to farm was arcane haze, and that took 15 minutes. Everything else I got simply by progressing through the layers. Oh wait, I had to farm 2 red jelly and that took 10 or so. Not painful at all.

The first time you fight it is pretty easy, The second time, in the final CD is completely bullshit

uh oh, now i'm kinda scared :(

Ritual Blood 4 is just not dropping that much for me. i keep getting fucking vials and QS bullets or shards. annoying

Paarl giving me some trouble, shit...

I beat him with
0 vials and half health by staying under him and actually dodging through his AoE attack like a badass. I was never able to this again on subsequent playthroughs so I resorted to stun-locking him with charge attacks lol.

I thought she was the hardest fight in the game (excluding Chalice stuff since I haven't done it yet). She has so many moves and if you mistime a dodge you will get tagged very easily. Big hitboxes on her moves too.

Yeah I'm a big fan of her "Oh you think you just dodged my arm? Well don't worry here's a tentacle for you"

I swear this list that ranks the bosses from easiest to hardest is messed up. I thought Paarl, VicAm, TOR were very easy. Rom, FG, and BSB have been my hardest fights.

http://www.pastemagazine.com/articl...oodbornes-bosses-from-easiest-to-hardest.html

Hm. I'd rank them like this, hardest to easiest:

Elder God Tier
Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos
Martyr Logarius
Gehrman, The First Hunter

Sweatin'
Blood Starved Beast
Vicar Amelia

Somewhat Challenging
Mergo's Wet Nurse
Father Gascoigne
Pthemunien Queen Chalice Lady Person

Eh
Moon Presence
Amygdala
Rom
Darkbeast Paarl
The One Reborn
Shadow of Yharnam

The Opposite of Elder God Tier
Celestial Emissary
Micolash
Witch of Hemwick

Oh wow. If you die to a certain enemy their eyes look AMAZING when they glow with your blood echos.

The giant pigs later on also look creepy. Anything with a bunch of eyes look cool.

the Nightmare Frontier? Or Upper Cathedral? Or found the optional path in the Nightmare of Mensis?

No, I don't believe so, how do I get there? I am in the process of fighting CE now, is that the only boss there? How do I find the other path in Mensis?

Yeah I'm a big fan of her "Oh you think you just dodged my arm? Well don't worry here's a tentacle for you"

I loved that!

Seriously. Series highlight boss fight. Not quite Artorias or O&S level, but def hangs alongside Kalameet, Capra and False King in my book.

lol I just died in the weirdest way. I was at Ni
ghtmare of Mensis
, I guess my Frenzy bar filled up, but I was most of the way through the teleport to Hunter's Dream animation. That said, right before I went to the load screen, I saw a splash of blood. I was like, "did I die?" After I landed at Hunter's Dream, I died instantly. Luckily when I reappeared at Hunter's Dream, my echoes were right under me.

End game spoiler:
Gehrman
was a really easy fight for me. Done it 4-5 times now and never had trouble. Fun and a light challenge but no where near some of the harder boss fights.

The same goes for
Logarius
. Once you figure out what you need to do it's simple.

After you beat CE, smash the window by the lantern. In Mensis look for an window you can roll into from one of the tiny elevators. Don't look up what happens next. It'll be a good surprise. Did you get the Tonsil Stone? If so, follow the instructions to get to NF.
