Lol I ain't gonna not heal so someone can kill me, fuck that honorable duel noise. Anyone that tries to bow to me also catches a bone marrow shot to the chest.

Agree. As I don't activity seek out pvp, if I get invaded I'm doing every trick in the book to make you die fast so I can continue with my game. Bowing is the best because it's a free R2 to the face.

Alright, pretty confused right now regarding Eileen's quests.

I've spoken to her outside the cathedral and she's warned me not to go kill her target etc, she was still stood outside the cathedral up until the point I stepped foot in the woods and now she's seemingly disappeared. I've tried going to Father G's fight spot and nothing is there, no Henryk, no Eileen... nothing. I'm absolutely stumped, have I missed out on the chance to fight him and carry on the quest line?

Yes, you screwed up. If you enter the woods without doing the Henryk fight, you won't be able to continue the questline.

I said I'm going to take a break from the game, but I just can't. I think I'm going to explore more of the chalice dungeon's for loot.

Having finished all of the bosses and earning plat has left me feeling empty inside. I need a DLC announcement.

Never played a Souls game, just wanted to give a massive kudos to From Software, haven't been this into a game since TLOU.
Beating my first boss alone was such a good feeling.

Quick question GAF, where is the first instance of getting
electric paper
?

I really need some help with
One Reborn
. Is there a shortcut or something I am missing? I am usually down on health before I even get to him because of those spitting things, and it takes me a couple minutes to run to him.

I open the mist and almost immediately get hit by his spew-thingy. On the ground I can't survive at all, even after taking out the
maidens
.

Really close to giving up the game for awhile because of this. As far as I can tell this is a mandatory boss, right?

So…uhh how do I get back to Hypogeon Gaol?

I thought that Paarl was the boss of the Gaol but after somehow ending up at him from the Unseen Village all I see by his lamp is a door into Old Yharnam.

I suppose it wouldn't be right if I went through one of these games first time without buggering up at least one of the quest lines! Oh well, that's what NG+ is for, thanks for answering.

Should be a tombstone with a port there if you got a lamp. If not get killed again by that guy.

S o Y down, 2 attempts. Favorite fight so far, felt like I got to use the whole toolkit, parry, mode swapping, dodging, zoning, very dynamic. Forbidden Woods 2nd portion was pretty great, stifling atmosphere, was honestly surprised how mazelike a more wilderness zone could be, layout was just outstanding. Game just continues to impress the more and more I play it.

Guys think me and my friends found a glitch with R
om
.

when I entered the arena I waited for my two friends to enter also. We ran around and killed every spider we could see. We could see spiders to the back left and back right of where we spawn in. We killed all the spiders (losing one of my friends in the process) then focused on Rom. When he teleported for his 2nd and 3rd phases he didn't spawn any other spiders, leaving us free to focus on avoiding his flail and AoE attacks.

Tried this method again to get one of my friends through and we could do the same tactic. Anyone else experience this?

Having some trouble finding
Eileen the Crow
. We already met on the rafters and I do have the gate open but I cannot find
Eileen
near the Cathedral Ward lamp or at the Tomb of Oedon. I haven't reached
Rom
yet and I have defeated
Vicar Amelia
. I just reached
Byrgenwerth
. Anyone have any ideas?

I imported Demons Souls in 2008 and was crazy about it but when I lost my save file, that was it for me. I played it really meticulously and was about 65-70% through so it was a huge blow. The disconnect was there and I moved on to Dark Souls. Not at launch but several months later.

I couldn't get into Dark, the controls felt weird, the graphics worse than Demons and I had no idea where to go. So I shelved it. When DS2 came out, I decided to buy it day one so I could play with the community and made real progress but the game was lacking, the boss battles sucked and level design mediocre by the franchise standards.

Enter Bloodborne and I'm playing it everyday, I'm always thinking about it and its creeping up in my top 10 games ever. Level design maybe the best ever and I could go on and on about the enemies, art etc.

But I know the game will end soon and now I cant wait to get back and give Dark Souls another try and hell, I will go back and beat Demons as well. Miyazaki you evil genius.

Did you leave the game on for over 12 hours? It could be a memory leak that causes bosses to be easier than usual.

Dark Souls graphics worse than Demon Souls? What?

Other than that, glad you're enjoying it. I think most die hard Souls fans will agree, Bloodborne is up there with the best.

Right, think I am going to give this game a break. The h
unter
in g
rand cathedral
is doing my nut in.

I have lost track of how many times that bastard has killed me. Got close a couple of times but nope. All I know was I was completely maxed out on vials before, now I have 6...

I know I dont have to kill him but sooner or later, I am going to piss over his corpse

Well...shit.

OK maybe nothing or could be glitched. I was at the part last night with the Bell Maidens and the skull box dudes. I went in the first bath teleport thing and killed the dogs. After going to the right there is what appears to be a elevator shaft. There is no elevator. I was looking down and a dog came back to life and knocked me down there. I realized where I was so I continued to TOR and defeated him. Is that elevator suppose to be there because it's gone now.

Can I co-op with a friend in Chalice Dungeons no matter what their level is or is it the same leveling system as the regular game?

Nah, Demon's > Blood > Dark >>>>>>>>>>> Dark 2

Taking down those 3 hunters in
Hidden Village
felt good. If they are too hard for anyone a good way to cheese them is to
Slowly walk down to where your prison cell was when you were abducted by the Santas and kill the wolf thing down there. Make sure the door to your cell is open then walk up behind the one hunter on the stairs. Throw rock at him and beat feet down to cell and lock your self inside. All 3 hunters will agro. PRO TIP. Then can reach pretty far in the cell to stand back and keep concrete pillar between you and them. Use thrust and reap rewards!

This works really well for anyone having trouble with this section.

Wtf i just discovered the path that takes you from
forbidden woods to central yharnam
, I thought the world wasn't interconnected ala dark souls, first time my jaw drop ever.

I've died more times in
Nightmare of Mensis
trying to make that jump off an elevator with no door into a window than I have against any boss. Lol.

Much of it is. I was equally surprised to find that
Yahar'gul, Unseen Village is also interconnected to Old Yarnham.

Surprised that an infinite Echoes glitch still exists. I stumbled upon it on YT.

Basically you kill all the dogs in the cages in the woods (and avoid the trap to the right of them), then run back to the clinic and run around the tables past the first lamp.

For some reason the game keeps handing out echoes when you pass a certain table.

Yes, you screwed up. If you enter the woods without doing the Henryk fight, you won't be able to continue the questline.

That sucks. I've been actively trying to do the Eileen quest and I did the exact same thing as the guy you responded to. I only ventured into the forest to find the lamp and that was it. So I guess you have to talk to Eileen after
vicar
and before stepping foot into the forest? That sucks that I missed finishing up her quest because I wanted to drink some beer and explore for a minute damn!
