Setting matching to worldwide seems to help when invading. Really don't understand why they've tried to cut back on invasions since Dsk2. You should be able to invade in every area, not just in places that spawn a bell ringer.

i feel like they should patch NG+ to include bell ringers nearly everywhere

i can understand leaving it as is for an initial playthrough

We tried normal calling with no result at all, so I made a chalice dungeon, sent my Chalice runes to my friend to enter my Chalice but we noticed only the Host can progress in the Dungeon so you have to help your coop buddy to progress too and continue exploring the chalice, are we doing something wrong ?

FINAL CHALICE COMPLETE

Fuck you BLB you mothertrucker. Absolute wankstain of a boss fight due to the camera and the fact he doesn't just want to get in your face, he wants to literally teabag you.

The final boss though was lulz. Hits like a truck but is otherwise very easy to beat. Didn't die on that one.

Yep, BLB is one of the worst fights ever in Souls/BB.

Ludwig is crap in range against the second Defiled boss. I should've maxed out the Hunter's Axe instead. Might just try to get through main game in NG+ and get the mats needed to max it just for this boss.

At this point on my other character i was in love with ludwig's holy blade.
But i'm not feeling the blades. I mean, they are good. But the short range has caused me a few deaths.
Wondering if i should upgrade the cane instead. Or wait for the burial blade.

At this point on my other character i was in love with ludwig's holy blade.
But i'm not feeling the blades. I mean, they are good. But the short range has caused me a few deaths.

The range and damage are pretty good if you focus on swift attacks. Also, R1 spam with Blade of Mercy is OP against NPC Hunters.

That said, if you're not feeling it, then you probably shouldn't. Every weapon seems to be viable, no need to play with something you're not fond of.

The cane is pretty cool indeed, and I keep mine equipped in the 2nd slot and upgraded when I face an enemy with elemental weakness, since I can't buff my Blade of Mercy.

I have no idea of what burial blade is, didn't find it or the badge to buy it yet, I guess.

Burial Blade is insane at +10, excellent moveset and B scaling at SKL. Only problem is that it cant be buffed with Papers/spells.

I was used to one shot everything with the Ludwig's HB. So it's weird to spam attack. Indeed it's very good as enemies usually can't fight back. But the short range is a pain.
I'll keep the blood rock for now.

I started with the saw cleaver.

Then i got the Axe.

I never used the Saw cleaver again. The Axe is a fantastic weapon for its transformed L2 swipes and 720 spin R2 attack. Great for AOE as well.

The boss of any floor is only completed for the host. You need to do every boss twice if you have two players, three times if you have three players.

they get stuck in the doorway if you lead them back there. You can then pound on them while they cant touch you.

You can try cheesing them by making them follow you into a house or you can just run past them. I do the later cause those wolves are op.

The burial blade looks cool but the moveset is... questionable. Not fast enough nor heavy enough to really beat out any other weapon's moveset. It's very middle of the road.

Take your time and wipe out the first

round of spiders completely. Then run up to Rom and start wailing on him until he teleports. Once he does, as soon as he reappears, make a bee-line right for him. From here on, ignore the spiders. Just run up to Rom and get some hits in, then back off. Be ready to dodge quickly if you see any of the smaller spiders getting ready to attack. The best place to be when not attacking is about mid-range. Too close for him to throw his boulders at you, and too far to be hit by his AoE attack. From there, just rinse and repeat. He'll teleport one last time before he dies, so once again, run over to him as soon as possible
