Wow, anyone heard the rumors of a memory leak that pops up after 10-12 hours of continuous play? Seems to result in several bosses losing several attack cycles resulting in much easier fights.

This has happened to me with several bosses, was bummed out when I found out since some of them had some really cool moves/stages that I would have liked to experience. Happened because I was using the suspend feature apparently rather than exiting the game.

You've also got another asshole that uses a very damaging ranged attacks that completely clips through pillars as if they weren't there. He's not particularly hard but he's very annoying.

I also found the last boss of the defiled chalice a lot harder than the watchdog.
 
omfg i got father gascione 3/4ths dead on my first try and then i got greedy. smh. also i ran out of bullets which made it harder haha. but damn hes way easier than the cleric beast imo.

!!! Holy crap, GAF, that was insane. But what do I do now?!
Gerhman is waiting for me at the Great Tree while the Hunter's Dream is burning. I have all 3 umbilical cords. And I know I haven't faced every optional boss. It seems I'm nearing the end of the game, but I want to fight every boss & I definitely want the "true ending". What do I do?

Can't ever run outta bullets technically since you have access to blood bullets.
 
Big spoilers and a question
I'm right at the end of the game. I've got the 3 umbilical cords to use before Gherman. My question is, does getting the platinum require I see ALL endings (even the one where you submit), and if so, How do I manage my cloud saves so I don't have to beat the game 3 seperate times? I have no idea how to even access cloud saves.

orbiden forest
without coop. After wandering around and getting lost constantly finally made it too the boss and read all these coop recommended messages going in haha.

Actually almost killed one of the 3 before he changed form and started hitting me with unexpected long range tentacles. Not sure I want to wander all the way there again just to be surprised by what the other two change into and die again by trial and error. Wouldn't care if I had an idea where things were but damn it feels the forest is designed to get you lost

Well hard yes, but impossible no. Here's my video if it helps. I had to level up a bunch for this to get my vit to 40, and use 2 hp runes (there's 3 in the game but i missed one). You can survive the charge this way. Also the executioners rune might help (heal more hp with blood vials)

The key is to try to bait the head swipe and dodge under it to the left
 
Is there a decent way to guarantee a meetup with a specific buddy of mine? We used to drop signs in out of the way places, but I don't totally understand how this system works. (I normally summon randoms for my playthrough, but he likes my help so I don't mind helping him)

I did lost like 5 insight earlier to 'unable to connect' crap that shot me out to the main menu. Restarting my PS4 fixed it.

I 'get' why they got rid of the summon signs... it used to be annoying as hell clicking on signs hoping for a connect or dropping signs and waiting... the bells are nice because it's 'ring and go do whatever you want while you wait'. But i think maybe there is a happy middle ground somewhere, perhaps a way to know if bells are being rung at all before you waste your insight.

ALSO -- i keep hearing about a woman appearing. once i thought it even said she left (did a summon go kill her or something?) Do i need to find her and talk/kill her?

I guess you could update your cloud right now, then beat it once, delete save, then recover it from cloud. It should have your save from before final area. Repeat two more times.
 
Just beat the 3rd boss :) There was a funny moment that when I finally defeat it, 2-3 seconds later my hunter died because of the poisons. Thank God when I re-enter the area, the boss was already dead and I didn't have to battle the boss again.. :p Bring on the next Boss!!!

my Vit is 37. guess i should make it higher. i only have HP +5% rune. i dunno where the rest is.
 
Helping a friend through
upper cathedral area. We got invaded by a guy in a dress with no weapons. He proceeded to bow and then open the shortcut doors for us in the mansion. He then bowed and left. Thank you magic fairy man.

never phase changed and kept up with the same one direction attacks through the encounter. Not that big of a deal, not a terribly difficult fight to begin with, but it seems like a real issue, but I doubt it's a memory leak as the game would probably just crash if that was the case.

nope, i missed it when i went into NG+. didn't know i needed a mat from it for the final dungeon. i'll be stomping through the rest of NG+ to get the other mats.
 
Not quite sure how the chalices work. I did the first one and it was easy (I am in late game though). Was all that random generated? What's the difference between the Pthumeru Chalice/Pthumeru Root Chalice/Central Pthymeru Chalice and the other chalices (Hintertomb, Loran, Isz)

Root means it's shuffled version of the original. Each other one is different. The big name types depend on the theme of the level.

Ahh ok. So in nightmare frontier, drop down the pit below the bell lady, there's a tunnel, that's how you eventually get to the +10% rune. I missed this entire area my first time through, very easy to miss.

For the +15% use make contact gesture after mother brain falls, hold it until you get the rune.

Edit: actually im wrong about +15%, was thinking of blood echo rune. Blainethemono is right
 
Well, I just beat Vicar Amelia on my first try. That's...certainly not something I expected. I died at least twice to every other boss in the game.

I think I'm a bit overleveled. Made it pretty far into the Forbidden Woods without much trouble. I'm lvl ~45 I think.
