The camera can be turned off, that's new. And you died against the hunters because you didn't make the right call on your moves! And the game even gives you audio clues to tell you if the Yahar'gul enemies are dead or not.

So it's mostly always on you

I know what you mean but I've raged at Bloodborne like I have with no other souls game. There's learning and dying because of your own mistakes but BB is either cruel or trolling at times. Some spots are just brutal in the lessons they 'teach'.

Nah, the three hunter fight is bullshit. All the Souls games have a bullshit moment. They're just fair the other 99% of the time.

I beat them my 2nd attempt. First time I'm not sure even counts, since I just ran in there because I was being chased by one of those monsters in a box, saw the hunter guy by the entrance, then I backed off to the entry-way and got cornered between the monster thing and the hunter. Second time, I lured them outside and down the path to the side of the building and took them on one or two at a time. They wouldn't follow me through the side door, so I had a safe spot when all three showed up. Then I just did it again and took out two of them and finished off the last one inside.

I'm currently at 25 I think, 1001 health. And my end/str/skill are all in their 24-25's.

I'm thinking of upping end some more so I can just spam slashes. My Bloodtinge is a pathetic 7. Will I see a notable increase by upping it?

Currently it takes like 20k souls to level up and I really don't know what to put in that will give me some instant gratification other than End and even that is a pathetic increment.

It's not too long. Take the elevator, run

through the room with the ghosts, climb the ladder, go out the door, up the stairs, then follow the path along the roofs until you get there.

Takes 1-2 minutes to get back there, if you don't fight anything and just run.

He has variations of the skull move (where he fires multiple smaller ones, one giant one), one where he stabs the sword in the ground and goes full Noctis (starts summoning lots of swords that track you), a superman dive and just a generally more aggressive moveset with his weapon.

Never encountered the dive or the sword summoning - must have been the memory leak.

Hope that gets patched.

I used the tombstone garb since it has a pretty high arcane defense. Try to increase your physical and arcane defense up.

I just ran down to the cage, closed the door and whip smacked them in the face till they died while going "nyah nyah can't get me~". Cheap? Heck yes. But if FROM can be cheap I figured it was fair game.

I'm not sure what it is about the Unseen Village, but the magic that densely infuses the game prior to this area is noticeable absent. The respawning enemies are the biggest culprits, perhaps. Their inclusion seriously broke the spell for me. Suddenly it wasn't about slowly progressing or exploring but a mad dash to kill the "hide and seek" chime maidens. The stage design and art direction are less imaginative and just dull in comparison to Bloodborne's first half. UV didn't feel "new", but a mishmash of older enemies in hulk mode and a totally out of place mechanic that catches the player off guard.

But hey, at least it's no Blightown, right?

Sadly no Demon's / Dark Souls for me, as i've heard they are even easier than Bloodborne, and the art direction doesn't attract me at all

Honestly... I don't know why people find Bloodborne to be harder then D. Souls, cause it is not. Well, at least not to me.

There are some very annoying and unfair enemies, but overall I relember Dark Souls to be a bit harder.

Anyway... to not play the series because they're nor hard enough is quite sad. Specially becasue 90% of games nawadays are way easier!

Finished today. For me - best in "Souls" series I've finished all of them, got platinum in DkS and DkS2. I've got high hopes and even bigger hype for BloodBorne, but the reality blows me away. Game is far, far better for what i've imagined, what i wanted...Fucking stellar game! Along Alien Isolation, easily the best game ever created. Ok, back to game, there is so much more to do...
