Defiled Chalice level 3 :|
Fuck you, Sonic.
Does share factory let you combine videos into one?

Nib: wait at the top of the stairs for the laser to go off, then just run down, don't stop.
Yes. Just add them as new clips and chop accordingly.
There is a 15m? overall limit.

Had many connections today, killed many people, venture to the
nightmare frontier.
>:D

Yeah, I did flip the switch i just never went and checked. It's not in the insight shop either. Anyone know what the only bosses I need to kill to get to that point?
Micolash

Yeah pretty sure you need that boss dead to activate the lift with the broken door.
Make sure you go down into the dark area afterwards to actually get the kill and a free Moon rune if you can be bothered.

You were going the right way

Just run pas them if they're too much trouble. It's definitely an annoying area.

Go back if you haven't fought any boss there yet, yes. You missed an exit somewhere.

If you have already fought a boss there, then run past the weird creatures.

There's supposed to be a boss in that Square? Nothing triggered for me except the skeleton dudes.

This game is so good, I'm playing it with a broken controller. lol
My R2 button broke today. Every time I push it, it comes out a bit so I have to push the button back into the controller or it won't recognize the next push... Well, at least I learned to parry pretty well thanks to this. xD

Damn holidays... No store open to go and buy a new controller....

Father Gascoigne
is freakin insane, I can't believe this is the first boss, he felt like a final boss. Allant, Gwyn and him all feel about the same level and I gotta fight him first wow. I can't believe From did this. If this is how this game starts I'm wondering if I'll even be able to beat it. I thought he was tough enough to start, then he goes beast mode and basically 1 shots you, I get knocked down and he continues to damage me when I'm down and I can't get away to heal before I die. I was so glad when I finally got him so I could move on with the game.

I do like the the smooth natural feel of the fight, and game, it has that great DS1 feel to it but it does have some problems.
The grave stones help at first but are super awful when fighting beast mode. I kept getting caught on them over and over leading to deaths and it's so cheap because they are just randomly all over the place. Smough and Orn was better because there were just a few pillars in a big open area so you could kinda tell when you were in danger of getting caught on one.

The camera is another problem, it goes behind objects that block your view. But even worse is it will freak out at times and not even show you on the screen at times, I've never had that problem in a souls game before.

I'm not really a fan of all the dodge spamming, it starts to feel really repetitive to me. I miss shields and the variety of Souls. I'm still enjoying it a bunch but I am worried the
boss fights are gonna be twitchfests.

The amount shortcuts so far is wild but it does feel a bit like they saw people like shortcuts and just thought if some shorts are good more will be even better, lets put shortcuts everywhere(I'm half joking with this).

So I finally killed the boss in layer two of the
Defiled
Chalice. Thank-you all for the help! Now I'm officially stuck on the third boss that I thought would have been simple.
Damn Amygdala

Something really weird happened to me with Me
rgo's Wet Nurse
, can anyone confirm?
I left the white-clad queen alone the first time and went to see the boss. She did one move that OHKO'd me pretty much instantly. I don't even remember what it was but I went "okay....". Then I thought, maybe this queen is powering it up? I killed her, then I fought the boss again, and none of the attacks dealt that much damage anymore. She wasn't glitched (she did the shadow teleporting/splitting thing, for example, and had a variety of attacks -- besides I don't use the suspend feature anymore since I learned about the glitch, just to be safe -- but she was really easy after that.

Does this queen buff the boss, or was I just unlucky and I got hit by a really strong attack that I successfully avoided the second try?

The latter since I beat it without
killing the queen and I don't think I ever encountered that move.

I stop playing this game and take a break, partly because I want it to last as long as possible. But an hour after I turn off the PS4 I turn it back on and load up the game even if it's just to explore a previous area for treaure. >_<

Need to explore
nightmare frontier
properly. I remember falling down a hole and getting kiled by some frenzy brain mutha thing. Want to check that place out.

Just killed those 3 hunters in the Unseen Village. First time!
Thing is, I approached them as if they were regular enemies, then when I saw two other unusual looking fellas joined the foray, I legged it back up the stairs lol. Ran up and waiting for them all with a timed R2 two handed axe. Spammed it twice. Then circled back around when I needed to heal, and repeated the strategy, clamouring them all simultaneously again in that segment. Only one that gave me trouble was the last guy who survived, and who used these weird lightning bolts. But even then it wasn't too bad.

Damn Amygdala

Its first two forms should be easy. Keep a distance and hit its head after it made its smash move. You can even stagger it and do a visceral move.

Stay behind it and hack away its tail during the last form.

I want the shotguns the npcs have. the player can never do any damage with theirs. even if you crank bloodtinge, it always feels pointless.
It's the only thing keeping me from killing him. When he's low on life he never goes on 2H mode so his gun is always ready. One small mistake and Bam! Half my HP bar is gone.

Hey guys, I have a couple of questions.

1) How the hell am I supposed to beat M
artyr
L
ogarius
? I've gotten extremely close to beating him several times now, but the piece of shit gets lucky at the last second. I get that you have to parry him, but what's the best firearm to do this with? I've been using the blunderbuss, but there's definitely a delay between firing and hitting him, which makes it hard to time.

2) Where do I go (and how do I get there) after beating the O
ne
R
eborn
? Obviously, I've been fighting that piece of shit L
ogarius
, but I know that's not the next required area.

The amount of content in this game is beyond staggering. To the point where I'm almost starting to get burned out on all of it (even if its all amazing) and just want to finish the game.

Well I just got to
Cainhurst, so I might as well see that through the end.

Hmm okay. What about damage? It was odd because its moves were doing fairly weak damage for the most part, there was a variety of them but I barely had to heal.

Also, this is funny (apparently it's a book in the Hunter's Dream):

XD

LMAO

OT4| How to pick up fair Maidens

Bloodborne OT4 Thrust Attacks are Effective

Found that message all over Cainhurst with the wailing women and near naked statues. Also saw it on the Grandmother in Oedon's Chapel

Well if I wasn't clear, there's two.
One you can get to in the chapel, the other is following the street all the way.

You should trigger a cutscene after you left the area with the smaller spitting skeleton creatures...

Just got to the boss and WTF was that? I managed to get it under 1/4 of it's health just running around until I get hit with a red Spirit Bomb. Not liking T
he
O
ne
R
eborn
at all.

There is. When you arrived there, you should have gone straight and then faced 2 branching paths with a large building in the background. The lamp is just before this branch, on the right side and by some rocks.

lol. I beat the game without ever seeing this lamp. Died several times before I made it to the other lamp.

I actually found him really easy personally, did it first try and I didn't even take out the adds.
You can avoid the spirit bomb if you stay at the side which hasn't got the little skeleton man on. As for the spit pool, just roll to the platforms on the sides.
