The regular chalice W
atchdog
already took me 5 tries, I'm gonna get obliterated by the defiled one =[

I need some help: what is the second Chalice Dungeon for progression?

Is there a way to
warp from the "frenzy cloud" that's right next to the Chapel? I had the stone to warp from the one that is in the huge circular room near the Unseen Village, and I've already gone through the Lecture Room, Nightmare Something, and beat Amygala.

Anything that the other frenzy thing is for?

So it seems this game has some pretty crazy damage variance. Has anyone figured out exactly what causes it? My only hunch is that certain actions may give you a defense penalty. For example,
Micolash used his magic attack on me and even though only one of the beams hit me,
it took off the remaining 90% of my life. Potentially a straight up one shot. I was coming out of a dodge at that exact moment, so maybe that has something to do with it? For reference I had around 800 hp at VIT 20 and I had been hit by the attack before and did not lose nearly that much life.
This is really interesting because that attack is complete bullshit since it's hard to dodge. Like you said, one beam can annihilate you so I don't understand what's the deal with that.

That's exactly it. Getting hit during an attack or a mistimed dodge counts as like a counter and your receive more damage. It's the same for enemies as well.

Is there a cap Lvl difference if I wanna cooperate? I'm surely 60 + lvls ahead of my friend. I wanna help him out, if servers allow us to connect to each other.

You cannot coop if you're not +/- 10 levels of your friend. This is done so that end game players don't obliterate early bosses.

Take the player with the lowest level, add 10% and an additional 10 levels, that's the allowed co-op range.

For example a player that is level 50 can only co-operate with a player up to level 65 (and a 36-37 at lowest)

Old Yharnum is going to break me... can't seem to progress :( WHY!?
Old Yharnum is where the stage is really set for the rest of the game. This is your trial and conditioning. Stick with it, and you will be amazed at some point at how far you've come. Happy hunting.

like said, when you get hit during an animation, you recive more damage.
same goes for enemies.

dark souls 1 had a ring, that boosted the damage of counter hits.

what?
why?
where are you stuck?

Kinda surprised people aren't digging the chalice dungeons more. I think they are pretty cool although I do find the difficulty scaling is a bit suspect at times (Ailing Loran seemed a lot easier to me than most of the level 3's).

Not needed to farm for anything yet, and its been a nice break from ng+.

i wish it was just the boss fights. i didnt care for the stuff in between. the level design is nothing special.

I wish I could respawn bosses in my chalice dungeons so I could re-fight some of them without having to remove and remake them.

I feel like I've reached the point where there isn't any reason for me to keep playing. :/

Aight, it just seemed like it might have been something different because the damage increase seems really high.

what?
why?
where are you stuck?

Having some major issues with
the turret section and the enemy hunters that attack you there, can't seem to shake them.

what?

didn't ENB tell us and even show us, where that door lent??

to the bridge you fought cleric beast
you can see the bridge, when you stand where the big ball chain guy was.

I haven't watched any of ENB's videos. The door still wont open though.

In Y
ahar'gul, what are those dead bodies that glow yellow for? Is it just a trap where you lose hp or does something happen when you manage to deactivate all of them?

School week is done for me, can finally finish up my NG+++ run and start my NG++++ run.

Gonna have my +10 saw cleave, canon, and ludwig after that :P

Already got the
Tonsil Stone
in NG+2, nice, let's see what the fastest way to the PVP arena will be.

what PvP area? I never saw a dedicate area.

Nightmare Frontier and Nightmare of Mensis already start with bell maidens, so it's a lot easier to get 1x1 pvp matches.

Just started New Game +, what a game!
Does New Game + change anything other than the health and damage of enemies?

all the chest that gave you a tool (blood gem workshop, rune workshop) is a kin coldblood (12). other than that, none I have seen.

I am convinced being a vileblood pretty me from progessing
Eileen's story line, I could be wrong but I fallowed the guides to the tee it just did not happen (the fight in the tomb
)

Aw, I was hoping it was like Dark 2.

Really not a fan of invaders having ability to heal themselves. Seems like it should be like it is in Dark Souls 2 (and 1?) and make it so they can't. Honestly not a fan of PvP really at all yet. Loved it in DkS2, even despite it's issues (lag, gank builds, etc). But not feeling it for Bloodborne.

Invader are at like half HP, and outside of the nightmare zones they can only invade if you have a coop partner.

It's just a shitty system overall, a big blemish in such an awesome game.

Can't you use the numbing mist? I reckoned that would be it's main use.

Lol!

I check the Insight store and see there's some new armor being sold.

The name of the armor (
Madman
) is appropriate since I felt like one for the past two days while trying to kill Abhorrent Beast.

After 2 days of banging my head against the Ebrietas wall, I was finally rewarded... with a stuck elevator. Good game, From. That's just icing on the cake.
