Trying to kill
Martyr Logarius
with The Blade of Mercy isn't going too well. It's definitely been making other fights much more difficult, but finding not having much range is making him pretty devastating, hard to get in quick attacks without getting too close. Think I'm going to have to hang it up for the night, might be a little on the low side for him level-wise as well.

I'm going to fucking throw my PS4 into the wall if vicar Amelia kills me again.. What s bunch of shit.

I notice she tends to reach out and swing with her right, so maybe dodge left instead of trying to back off.

Basically keep playing around with strategies and see what works. There was a time in everybody's playthrough where a boss they beat didn't seem so beatable.

Just parry him.

I started to get into the harder chalice dungeons and they are pretty fun.

It's impressive that after beating the main game and after playing chalice dungeons for several hours today I still kept encountering new bosses and enemies.

After a while though, it's still nice going back to NG+ and enjoying the more varied locations and more complex art direction

I can't believe From went back to consumable healing items and hardly give you much on top of that. Now I'm at a boss I'm having trouble with having used up almost all my healing and I have to restock my healing items. As if losing to bosses over and over wasn't bad enough.

I am making good time though, only 14 hours in and I'm already at the 3rd boss.

BSB sucks a lot. I had to farm blood vials so far at 2 points in the game so far, BSB and the 6th or so boss. At least it made me level up a couple times while farming.

So... I just got killed by a sack wielding enemy with long arm and now I ended up in
yahar gul forgotten village
. This place is kicking my ass. wtf is this? The difficulty meter just went over the top compared to old yahrnam.

While I also preffer the Estus Flask system
Consumable items are a bit of a double edged sword in terms of difficulty.

On one side you can run out of them and you'll have to farm them, which can add to the frustration of hard bosses.
On the other side you can carry 20 of them (and get runes to carry up to 24 I think), which is a lot.

You don't have to beat that area right away.

Just find the lantern and get out of there for now

I think consumable items were definitely a deliberate decision. They wanted you taking more risks in normal battles, they wanted you making long treks to find shortcuts, they wanted you to have to think how you heal in a boss fight and whether it's worth using an item.

Just got to C
ainhurst

Wooow., amazing area! Is it possible to be there in the daytime? I went to Hemwick in the daytime but peaced for a long time and forgot about it, then came back at night so I'm wondering if ^ is possible in daytime. I just got runes now and I think i'm almost done the game :lol.

Rom is giving me serious trouble, best I can do is get him to about 20%. Watched vids, using buffs, but nothing.

Once he gers down low in health, there isn't a window to attack, he spams attacks and I cant get in.

Hehehehe.

Go up the stairs from the starting point and you'll find a lamp. There is good loot in the area, you should explore!

I think the system falls in on itself with how easy they are to get. It's a broken system with no inherent risk aside from the sheer boredom and bombardment of load screens.

How do I change the blood gem imprint shape? I just had a triangle blood gem drop but it doesn't fit into any of my weapon slots.

But its such a great place for low level farming! Just get both pigs to run into each other and if they step on a few dogs its 15000k echoes in 3-4minutes. You also get stones if you van beat teh bag ofrock dudes.

I pop them like candy with how easy they are to stockpile. As a system I don't like how it works on either end. I prefer how deliberate the estus system felt.

Okay, I just saw the weirdest glitch. I was fighting one of those big executioner axe guys next to the Witch's Abode when he did a jumping attack at me. In the middle of his jump, he vanished and reappeared at the other end of the area jumping in the opposite direction. Has anyone else experienced this teleporting glitch?

Wow could not beat
darkbeast paarl
after around 4 hours of constant tries, the first real trouble i have had since the very first mob, so called for help. Had an awesome person come and destroy it in like one minute. Absolutely amazing.

Sloppy, over leveled play here but I got so tired of this dude not reacting to gun and throwing knives at me through pillars that I just went for an in-your-face approach. (Chalice pthfuurarian boss spoilers)

Wow I have a lot oh HP. I pump a lot into it so I could get through cursed dungeons.

Have you (hint)
figured out how to stop her from healing?

Only after beating her did I look her up and find out you can do that. Always keep in mind what you have in your inventory.

I have it all the time with the dogs in that area, they vanish and reappear nearby.

You can't change the shape of imprints; they'll unlock in the order shown (l-r) as you upgrade your weapon. Uncanny and Lost versions of weapons (found in chalice dungeons) will have different imprints (triangle instead of crescent, for example).

So after the transformation of 2nd boss what should i do, its blowing all cover.
Im just running around trying to kill with molotov but no luck :'(

I ignored all of the adds and just straight up went after him, I have no idea how I managed it but locking on to only him helped out a lot for some reason.

Ghorn ;)

On a serious note:

this was my tactic I used after constant deaths:

1st wave, killed about 75% of the minions so that I can get good attacks as he tries to teleport. He teleported @ on average 55% health.

Made a straight run for him to get attacks before he teleport his final time. I didn't mess with minions anymore after the 1st wave.
He had about 35% health then made final teleport.

Here is where I became SUPER cautious and played it safe. Circle him until you get an opening, go in for 1 strong attack and 1 attack only and barrel roll out to safety! Repeat until he barely had health and I did a double attack to finish when I saw my chance when he had 10%ish

Good luck!

If there's some space between you he'll lunge at you which is really easy to parry. Get that and he's pretty much dead. Other than that you can use the
tiny music box
for a free visceral attack opportunity

Broken? Nah. There's more risk than a loading screen - c'mon man. (Something that varies quite a bit and is blown out of proportion in my mind) You can't just throw an Estus system into a different game that has more aggressive enemies.

Just happened to me last night. There was one in front of me and one in the distance. Closer one started charging me while I was locked on, suddenly he vanishes and my lock on jumps to the other further guy. BOOM surprise axe attack from behind.

Little bit of advice, go for dash attacks. The damage is significantly buffed on those slashes, and you usually have time to sneak one or two more before backing up. It should go without saying that you want to dash towards him while he's attacking, abusing your i frames and leaving yourself the maximum amount of time to attack.

I need an adult.
A giant cthulhu looking motherfucker just kidnapped me when I was exploring what I thought was an empty room with a locked door.
