hehe you could just open the weapon upgrade screen and scroll through all your runes, you will see the stats change as you scroll through and can easily see which ones will improve your attack that way.

Oh yeah, I did that, maybe my problem is that I didn't find better runes...
Question, How scalling works? I've scalling skill rune and I don't know if I should change it for another with pure damage.

Taking my second character into chalice to get some gems. Man, Undead Giant in the chalice purely a test of patience. What a terrible boss lol. Was flying through till I got to him. One hit, back away - one hit, back away. One shots no matter the health. I'm almost on 50 vit.

Same here. Been on the level 2 boss since almost 24h. Probably 200 tries now. I just can't. This thing is faster than me. much bigger : leap forward / backward faster than me. OS me in almost every move. Got random follow up patterns... This is a nightmare

look for a random enemy in the area with glowing eyes. even after I turned off my game, someone has it when I revisit. it's not always the enemy that killed you who took them.

If you had an easy fight with her, you probably got the glitch that causes her to do one move over and over and never do her second form. When not glitched, it's easily one of the top tier difficulty bosses outside of the Chalices.

What moves is she supposed to do in her second form? I got her flailing about, shooting lasers, doing this kind of charge attack, spewing blood, and trying to eat me.

Yes for your first question. Do not keep it.

No for your second question, its underwhelming and doesn't last very long and eats bullets

was waaay harder for me but i guess i always depends on the playstyle. Overall, the big, but often attacking / moving alot bosses are the worst (VA, BSB, FG 2phase - like Manus).

So i guess only Chalice dungeos and end boss left. Since i upped Skill with Strenght i'm maybe going to use Blades of Mercy in NG+

Check the Lecture Building first floor. Sometimes your bloodstain gets moved there, inexplicably.

I don't think your Ebrietas was glitched. Having a competent cooperator makes a big difference.

They are also not always on the same floor as you were when you died. Early in the game I was rolling through the sewers and those crawling things in the water got me. went back, couldn't find souls. Looked all over and finally just said screw it and went up the ladder and around. Guy with rifle 100 feet up was walking around with glow eyes. Killed him and got them back.

Just had the same. Got killed yesterday and because it was already late, i turned off he console (exited the game via menue). Today i cleared the whole area where i died of all enemies and no sight of my echeos. Second time this happened. Don't think i missed a "hidden" enemy somewhere. Was 90k echoes but i don't care anymore (lvl 81). Happened to me early too and there the echoes were precious.

bait her swing during her 1st form, then dodge left through it, and immediately do a rushing 2-hand L2 attack with my Ludwig at her head. This would leave me pretty close to her, which she would immediately respond by slamming face down into the ground, which I would dodge back from immediately after landing the L2 attack. Her recovery is long enough that I could do a R2 charge attack at her head, then back away and repeat. Once she went into her second form and started spitting the blood, I would stay close enough and strafe so that blood wouldnt hit me but I was close enough to run in and take a swing or 2 before dodging back again and repeating. It was more of a patience fight then anything once the blood attack started. I used the cannon to speed up that process as well.

Those guys are assholes. I beat them by doing R2 attacks with Ludwig blade. They are slow so just stay out of reach our they will ruin your day. Great treasure outside!

Bizarre. For me she was by far the hardest boss outside of Chalice dungeons. Must've taken me 15 attempts, when every other boss died in 1-3.

It's a different bell ringer, same with the one in Nightmare frontier, once you kill her she won't come back.

Unlike the bell ringers in Unseen Village, the Nightmare bell ringers (in Nightmare Frontier and Nightmare of Mensis) summon other players to invade your game. They don't respawn when you kill them.

Yeah, on boss fights they can sometimes be outside the door when you arrive, inside on the floor somewhere or even an enemy outside the door picked them up. Remember, these enemies have walking patterns so they could have gotten them then walked off for a nice smoke and a song lol

Down (outside) and to the right is some armor It's hanging off the front part of a carriage. LOTS of those bloodecho balls, too. (stuff that gives you blood echos)

was one of my favorite areas in the "Souls" franchise. It was pure evil at first but never unfair. Brilliantly designed with excellent shortcuts throughout. And 2 fun boss fights.

Really ? I though her patterns were telegraphed and only her final form with frenzy can be hard to deal with but Evelyn plus bone marrow ashes took care of that

I can't even fight bosses with her in the room anymore. When I get pissed off and yell at the TV I always get "It's only a game" bullshit line. Like I forgot it was a video game.

Having her in the room while I fight a boss is more stressful than the boss fight itself.

Nothing else to do, if what you got is the rune tool then you can use it at hunter's dream. And yes, easiest boss fight.

I killed The one reborn and I'm in the next area (on that last headstone spawner) but damn am I screwed. I'm been trying for days just get more echoes. I keep building building up a small fortune and losing it all. I've been trying to get back to other areas but I'm not getting enough. I feel so stuck.


I never had this issue with other 'souls' game and I'm not sure why. It doesn't feel like this game is harder than the others but I just suck at it

With Co-Op I could totally see you getting her in one go. Basically, if you grab her ass she's easy except for one move
