After accidentally reading there was a w

boss fight I was a bit disappointed when I got to it and it wasn't with a traditional
looking witch
, outdoors with the moon in the background and
her taking off on a broomstick occasionally raining magic down
. That would've been epic, instead of this old hag. :(

Someone tried to help me with that earlier. The elevator still wouldn't move. There is nothing to do. From needs to patch it.

NG+ is so much fun when you know what to do. I feel so badass running around and slaying beasts like its nothing. I've beaten
Cleric, Father G, Amelia, and BSB
within a couple hours. Enemies might have more health but when you know all their attack patterns it's no problem.

Also PVP while at a high level is a blast. Everyone you encounter is a challenge and the fights are long and intense.

Sins of the Scholar?

I have already beaten Dark Souls 2 on PC. I enjoyed my time with the game and I think it's a good overall game but I can't put down another $60 for it on PS4. Maybe if there's a sale I will get it for the changes but right now it's too much for a game I have already played.

I was doing well but she pushed me against a wall and picked me up and ate me, lol.
But yeah, we were doing awesome, lol. It was funny how we were alternating between charge attacks.

Your video helped me with the idea of killing the first wave of spiders, that way I could focus on Rom to do maximun damage the first time. After that just two full combos on him and The End.

Yup the maximum damage first time around makes it so much easier. I'm on the fourth layer now at the boss and feel like I may be in trouble. First fight got killed in about 10 seconds, second time about twentyseconds...
 
So I finally killed BLB, but I think I'm going to take a break from this game for a while. Like, fuck this game. Not in a serious way, but fuck it. Fuck it.


I'm in such a bad mood now. Stay vigilant, my fellow hunters.

Eh, I hated the original and I'm having fun with SotFS. I stand by my thoughts that some enemy positions were bullshit in the original. Getting ganked by 3 spear users in the first full area for starters. Souls does feel really slow coming back from BB though. It's so easy to dodge after the intense high speed fights BB has.

Hmm, I just noticed that mine is broken now too. Its stuck at the bottom. I already defeated the boss, so I already have the lamp lit for the area. I tried getting it to work from both the top and the bottom to no avail, so you're right.

Wasn't trying to shit on DS2. Fine game I'm sure, the remaster just felt strange to me -- shockingly quick weapon degradation (bug that carried over from Pc), much wider hitboxes, odd enemy placement, etc. Just not for me. I'll play the PS3 original eventually, according to Eurogamer the original DS2 is a better game in any case.

Have you gotten to the room that has the three

in it? If so
just run straight out the main exit and go right and just keep going straight all the way down that slope, until you run into him.

what the complete fuck is up with the chalice dungeon boss version of
Rom
. Just instakills me over and over with some meteor attack. Really doesnt help that he spams it nonstop so I cant even get close to him
 
Eh, I think I'm done. Did NG+, missed out on
Ebrietas
because f*ck that guy but did everything else. Also got the 'true' ending. Then I beat Papa G on NG++ in about 15 seconds. Guessing the game doesn't continue to scale... One-shotting all the regular enemies with my Ludwig +10.

Now I'm just at a loss. I could do the chalice dungeons but I just hate them. I'm in the game for the amazing level design and art style, not drab copy pasted dungeons.

Shame, I've put in around 50 hours but, compared to most Soul's games, that's about half what it usually takes for me to get bored.

I certainly got double that out of DkS2. Then again, that had 3 fantastic DLCs come out after the fact. Hoping they do the same here. Although there's a chance I'd be horribly overlevelled when it did finally drop....

To me, BB has the best gameplay, but it's the only thing it has going for it.

The only enemy placements I didn't like were outside Velstadt's room.
