Yup. Playing with headphones just makes it worse. Had to go to party chat cause I'm a big baby. Those slurping suckers are just too much for my old man heart.

Dont fight
Ebrietas
like you did in the main game. I tried that, and it did not work. What did work was staying back beyord the reach of her tentacles waiting for her to slam her head then get a few hits in. At 30-40% she starts doing lasers beams if you are far enough away you can see them, just strafe sideways and dodge 3 times (with a slight pause in between each laser). Got her 1st try using that strat.

I've got an extremely lucky fight with the Blood-Letting Beast on upload too, I'll drop it in here if my internet speed ever allows it to finish. It's a pretty great example of what not to do. Was one hell of a ride! Now just to wait for some DLC.

I've just beaten BLB and gotten the defiled chalice, but apparently I need 2 bastards of Loran. Is it true I can only obtain these in the ailing loran chalice?

yes you can get them in layer 3 of Ailing Loran, also one of the bosses is Ailing Loran drops a Blood Gem that will get you that trophy and the
Beast Claw
is on layer 2 which is required for the weapon master trophy.

Good luck, and just remember, when you die, and then die again, and lose multiple hundreds of thousands of blood echoes that it was:

a) your fault for carrying so many blood echoes :) risk vs reward
b) there will be more hundreds of thousands of blood echoes where that came from - so don't get too disheartened
and
c) just when you think you've learned your lesson to not do anything too challenging when you have a ton of blood echoes stockpiled, you inevitably have not learned, will do it again, and lose an even greater sum that you thought taught you not to stock pile them last time.

My record is in the 150k range, my previous high lost blood echoes was in the 50k range...so yeah I thought I had learned to be more careful, but the failing with all Souls style games, you get greedy, and the game punishes you for it, Greed is the greatest, hardest boss of the Souls/Blood games, no one else is even close to Greed's power.
 
Killed the boss of Burgerworth in one try! That was exhilarating @_@

Unfortunately instead of ending it on a high note, I tried to fight the Cainhurst Hunter to finish Eileen's quest... Goddamn does he hit like a truck! This is the first time I've seen a Hunter do this much pistol damage!
 
Today has been a good day! VA downed first go. Masses of items picked up, leveled up to 46. Weapon upped to +5. Lots of short cuts opened and made my way to the Henswick area lamp 8). The moon is now out and it's looks fab! So, whose after VA, Witches I presume?

Anyways, you proved my point. People will play with bad weapons for fun because they like them, just like in Dark Souls 2, where there is about 80 more to choose from with more freedom on how to use them, with greater build variety and functional online play.

Perhaps you haven't done a build that is best with each weapon, I've used every weapon you mentioned except for the Saw Spear & Stake Driver, & not a single weapon I used was bad, each weapon is great, the BoM is pretty bad at low levels that I almost felt build-remorse until I got it to +10 & got my skill to 35-40, at that point the BoM was doing the best dps in the game.

Some weapons in the game only get good at high levels, especially skill weapons, you can't just use them shallowly at +3 & level 15 & then judge that weapon, this game isn't like the Souls games.

no. I got the platinum without doing Great Isz. Red Jelly 2x can be found in the lower lecture hall, if you did not miss it in NG, in NG+ just beat Father G, grab the tonsil stone and head there to get the other 2 you require.
 
Just beat bloodletting beast on 3rd try at lvl75.
Easy once I figure to stay close at his front, dodge toward under him, do 1 hit (do R2 since most dam) and repeat.

I like level 170 now and I gain a level from each layer of a depth 5 (including the ancilary path to the chest).

Platinum achieved!! That was a fun platinum. I have been playing Dark Souls 2 but all i could think about was how i still needed to platinum bloodborne, now i can play :O I thought platinum was going to take me the whole weekend, thank the lord the final chalice was a cake walk, i thought it would be tougher because defliled gave me such a headache.

In the dream, if you enter the house and exit at the first left, there's a second messenger vendor. You need 10 insight to use it. You can buy the bell for 1 insight from it.
 
After playing through (all of the bosses) twice, I've been invaded once. I just ran into the Frontier boss door because I didn't want to waste vials lol.
 
So i have consumed the 3
Cords.
i dont have a previous save either.

Does that mean i can only get 2
endings this playthrough?
 
Killed boss in NF. Summoned help but the guy lasted 2 minutes. My Souls training kicked in and I did NOT panic. Stepped back and watched the patterns then moved in and camped on her butt. 5 minutes later Prey Slaughtered.

Feels good, man.
