Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

Final boss seems a bit hard for me at level 80. Time to some some optional stuff and level up.

Would reducing my insight help? It's 40

Okay, wise GAF. Just beat B
lood Starved Beast? (BSB)
on my first try, feels good man!

Now how should I be leveling my character? I'm new to Bloodborne/Souls, went with Lone Survivor class at the beginning and have really been putting most points in Vitality + Endurance, and others in Strength. Is this right? I don't want to regret my decisions later if I'm doing it wrong now. Should I be putting more into STR (I'm using the AXE btw.) I've yet to put many (if any) points in skill, bloodtinge, or arcane. Thoughts or help would be much appreciated :)

Anyone know a good place to get some ritual blood (4)? I've been looking everywhere, but it just doesn't spawn. Had a bit of luck with the 2 sack dudes who spawned two of them, but since then it's been blood shards, vials and bloodstones. Wooptiefuckingdoo.

I grinded them last night and you just have to kill the sack dudes. Really low drop rate but I've found none better. Layer 3 of Depth 3 there's a really early sack dude you can farm in the offshoot just before
Rom
.

once you get into NG+, you can get 10k in less than a minute so losing Echoes ain't such a big deal anymore, lol

Yesterday I did my 1st depth 5 root chalice. I got

Layer 1- +300 resist frenzy rune
Layer 2- +150 all resist rune (perfect for Nightmare Frontier)
Layer 3- Lost Ludwigs Blade
Layer 4- Blood Rock

I also found 20+ Ritual Blood (5) and 10+ Tomb Mold (5)

I cant pull up the Chalice Glyph right now, but it was number 41 on the spreadsheet. I went in just for the rock, and the 2 runes were a VERY pleasent suprise (he did not annotate them on the spreadsheet at all)

To cap it all off the bosses are very easy on this one. The Watchers> Brainsucker> Elder Plurtirian > Amagdala (she fights like she did in normal game, much less agressive than defiled version)

Where can I find a Blood Rock? I need one to fully upgrade Ludwig's Holy Blade.

When you get the I
ron
G
ate
Key (it's for the gate at the starting area in M
icolash
boss battle) and you open it, it's just to your left hand (you won't miss it)

Great job man.

Thanks, man. No other game does a better job of inducing panic in me when I'm playing it. I don't know what it is but when that big ass health bar appears at the bottom of the screen my mind goes blank and I forget everything I've learned. Beating her, albeit with help for the first 90 seconds, on the first try is huge for me. I knew it was a boss area when I got close and wussed out and summoned. Partner dying right after forced me to "git gud" and I rose to the occasion. Hands finally not shaking anymore lol.

Try this dungeon pe5imqwh. There are two sack kidnapdudes right at the beginning. They both drop it fairly regularly.

In NG, you can get ~20k in about a minute
in Lecture Hall
, or ~100k in 3-5 minutes from killing 7 enemies in a room in
a depth 5 Isz Chalice Dungeon.

Make sure you drop
mother brain
first though... Else you'll have to deal with frenzy.

Well, any tips for Defiled A
mygdala? I have the fight under control till he'she/it breaks his arms, dont really know how to approach this phase because everything he/she does it's an 1hitko so I can't really try any strat

Hmm, I must have missed it. I went up from there but a big brain kept killing me with frenzy

So, is E
brietas
supposed to be a hard boss? Because I defeated him/her on my first try due to kinda getting stuck inside his/her body. That allowed me to execute attacks without getting hit once...

Mikolash or whatever isn't super hard but God damn he's a resourse drain. Have to grind. Again. For a dumb ass cheap boss. Again. Stupid mistakes.

So easy to get to him and get to the second part. But I died like 5 times when he decided to just spam his magic missile attack once you drop down. My solution, just get up close to him and hit hard. The only attack you ever need to worry about is his tentacle thing, which is also the easiest to avoid. Rush down attack is much better than being patient.

i never fought him. is he that hard? just go NG+, it's a breeze.

yes he is hard. He is one of the few enemies in the game that changes direction during a combo. If you are behind him in a split second he can turn around an smash into the ground for massive damage. He is moves fast and closes distance. Think Blood Starved beast except you can't just roll behind him to get hits in.....

If you glitch inside a boss and are out of its reach then of course it's a cake walk. E
brietas
is actually one of the harder bosses in the game. I needed to stock up on bolt paper, upgrade my axe to +10 and level up to 52 or so before I could defeat that ugly space vag.

sounds like he's worth fighting just for pride/challenge.
