Witcher 3: Official Gameplay Trailer

This game shits on a lot of favorites around here *ahem* Bloodborne... [...] Haven't played Bloodborne, but its combat system is not as robust as TW 2/3 or DD. It's the only thing that prevents BB from being a game I play and worship.

uh, ok

Man this game looks insane.

Currently playing through Witcher 2 (just beat the first one a few weeks ago), and trying to get through as much of the books as I can. I'm going to be neck deep in Witcher lore!

I dont think there is any reason to be worried about the console ports

They pulled some voodoo magic on the witcher 2 for 360
Still cant believe they ported it as good as they did

This game shits on a lot of favorites around here *ahem* Bloodborne, Skyrim. The only RPG that can take it's mantle is Dragon's Dogma 2. It's all about control for me. Haven't played Bloodborne, but its combat system is not as robust as TW 2/3 or DD. It's the only thing that prevents BB from being a game I play and worship.

weird post man.

games are way different.

I can't wait to screw on a unicorn.

I can't tell if you're joking or not. On the off chance you're actually serious: how can you know The Witcher 3's combat system is more robust without having played it? And how can you say The Witcher 2's combat system is better than Bloodborne? That's a really strange... comparison. And you haven't played Bloodborne?

Am I being rused here?

Huh, i thought this was it. Is it supposed to be Geralt's hair only or animals and NPCs as well?

Geralt's hair and fur on various assets (monsters, cloathes). No idea about NPCs.
It's very clearly not in the video, it looks much, much better with it on.
Edit :
In Witcher 3, HairWorks adds realistic hair to Geralt and other characters, and adds coats of thick, dynamic fur to the many interesting monsters that inhabit the Witcher’s world.

I thought hair works is not part of the preset? Regardless, I see no reason why they'll show ultra now if they haven't shown it so far. The Nvidia trailer is probably when we'd see it

Have you played Witcher 3 then? Strange that you have such strong opinions of both games when you have played neither.

It seems so huge with so much shit to do. Hopefully it's all unique and good quality, not like Dragon Age 3 or Unity

Oh,i thought it's only his hair since it looked kinda nice. That's great

I have heard that they would not show the Ultra until game was released? they wanted it as a surprise for PC owners

Why are they different? You know they will clash for best RPG at the end of the year =D
They definitely play different. TW is more accessible than BB though. I am not built for BB...I think. I just don't want to get halfway through that game and then drop it because I am stuck. Can't "git gud" at this age.

I can't wait for it! I started the witcher2 again a few days ago to be fresh on the history.

I even upgraded my cpu and waiting to decide on a new gpu for this and project cars.. Any advice? My budget will be preferabily something on the line of a 970, but think i could go as far as a 980..

How do you know....you haven't even played BB....

TW3 combat system looks like an upgrade to TW2s. I played TW2, I don't need to second guess what is coming for 3, just as many didn't need to second guess BB based off the engine in the Souls series.

How do you know....you haven't even played BB....

It's just my opinion mann. I've seen enough of BB to know that it's combat would feel lethargic to what I've played on TW2. Forget my inferior opinion since I haven't played BB and base my opinion on in-depth observation. How about those who have played BB and TW2. Any thoughts on the combat? It is you who I (we) want to hear from. People seem afraid to speak up on these two titles. They don't want to pit them against each other.

Wow, that was incredible! Can't believe this is their first foray in open world game design, they really went all out.
