1 - This one allows you to have access to Iosefka's clinic and forbiden woods from the very beginning of the game:

2 - This one shows how to perform the infinite blood echoes glitch:

3 - This one shows how to kill Father Gascoigne in less than one minute. Only one parry is necessary and can be made right at the beginning of the battle:

There's more to come :)
Hahaha definitely using the last one in my "fist and gun" build. Thanks!

Lol,
Micolash
keeps literally one shotting me with his magical attack on NG+. The damage of that attack is absolutely ridiculous. Any tips?

You can shoot him out of it, and you can dash forward right before they hit you.

Why would anyone ever need to glitch Father G?

Even in my NG+ run he was a chump.

Working my way through the Chalice Dungeons now and it's rooouuuugh at spots. Hitting the bosses aint no thing but having like 6 summoned spiders and a werewolf and 2 cleaver idiots all up on your jock at once is kiiiiind of ridiculous.

BUT - a nice farming technique that doesn't involve "breaking" the game or exploiting obvious glitches is to find a door that those summoned spiders are batching up against and swing an axe through the still closed doorway. They just keep coming and as long as you keep your distance from the threshold you are relatively safe the entire time. Good stuff!

Also - Undead Giant was wrecked on my first run through but the whole cannon balls attached to chains off his back thing is FUCKING awesome. The enemy design in this game is Tier 1 untouchable. I must have DLC.

Not much difference between that and glitching or breaking the game.

Also - is anyone else really really wanting to see a shared clip of an invasion that is basically "You came to wrong neighborhood" of someone just getting WRECKED hard by 3 coop players with cannons or something??

There is so much potential in this game.

Not much difference between that and glitching or breaking the game.

Just enough of a difference where i don't feel like a douche doing it. They can hit you through the door as well and it's not running around a table and getting blood for free. You gotta like... still play the game ya know?

Still - just so much faster/funner to find bigger meatier targets playing the game normally.

Just wanted to open up the Ailing Loran Chalice dungeon, and when I confirmed I was thrown out of the game because it lost connection to the server. Now I can't get back in. Are the materials gone now or what? That would be hilariously bad...

Yeah, once I realized how I was getting damaged by that attack I didn't mind so much how often I was dying lol.

It's a shame you can't leave a note that says "Ooooh, Majestic!"

Man A
mygdala
in defiled chalice is really tough.. Any tips? It was much easier in normal game..

I'd stay back at range since nothing Amy does is really threatening. The poison thing is just around the head, the laser is super easy to avoid, and the melee attacks give you a ton of time to come in for a hit afterwards, and I think it actually gets easier when she powers up since the hands that are about to attack glow blue. For the jump, pan the camera up to see and dodge right before she hits the ground since that's the only attack that was really threatening.

The stage 3 part where the hands rip off got me, but if you hug the butt and whack the tail Amy will jump away back facing you which lets you keep doing it until she dies. Though note hitting the legs/tail doesn't do much damage at all.

I was so close to his legs and dodging under the scythe blade for like half the fight until he managed to clip me and I decided to back off for a moment for a breather and to heal .. one of the cannon balls probably wiped the sweat off my brow as i was backing up!! Got a very genuine "OH SHIT" out of me... then i baited an attack out of him a few times just to watch it - pulled my daughter away from her tablet and was like "Baby... look at this.. he has cannon balls attached to chains attached to his BACK!!"

"Oh my god daddy that is crazy! Can those hit you??!!"

Yes they can dear. Yes they can.

Is there a chance there are more boss AI bugs other than the 12 hours one?

Vicar Amelia
was batshit insane on NG+, it was absolutely nothing like my first fight against her on NG. She was jumping everywhere and hitting me like crazy. Some bosses could really use being harder, so if there a bugs making them easier than they should be, that would be great.

W
atchdog
down. Please tell me A
mygdala
is easier.
I think I had about as many retries for her than the previous one, so I can't tell which is harder but they're both bitches. xD

How I beat her:
play pretty much 100% unlocked. Whack at the left hand (eventually it'll do a satisfying bleed sound) and get hits on the head if you can, though the opportunities are rare. I used the burial blade which has good range and hitbox, and very strong regain so early into the fight I almost always healed back the damage I took via regain, but when in sheer trouble don't hesitate to pop a vial, especially late into the fight. Watch out for the AOE and the jump/slam.

No real tips/cheesing trick I'm afraid, just play carefully and roll through those swipes.

Guys any tips for E
brietas
?

Don't get too stressed out.
Try to figure out a way to dodge that charge (???)
Shoot the head with Bone Marrow Ash like a madman if you have to.
Try to bait the big head slam for visceral chances.
Pray to the Great Ones.
For the love of god have Sedative equipped.
Don't let her put you in a corner.

Definitely the hardest boss so far for me.

Ok I'm about to give up on this game, the end game is just too ridiculous hard for me I'm in the
nightmare mesis
area enemies have way too much life, hit freaking hard and on top of that a fucking bitch is summoning players to kill me .

Bosses like
martyr and cosmos plant whatever it's called kicked my butt after like 20 tries if not more
not being able to find anyone to help me on bosses is not helping either

Is lvl 77 too low for this area or am I just bad at this game ?

A policy I embraced fully in late game areas is the HA strategy. The "Haul Ass" Strategy. During this strategy I would "Haul Ass" through many challenging segments in a blitz to find shortcuts and or bosses. Once I had unlocked shortcuts I just banged my head on the boss until I won. Also yeah 77 should be plenty. Would recommend upgrading weapons as well too. I noticed that made much more of a noticeable difference in damage once I did.

Will try this dude,thx

Do you hear our prayers?
Dude I remember you from the Dark Souls 2 threads, why did you get junior'd?

Yeah, but if you wouldn't have died, you never would have earned 500k on your playthrough of the level.

I see what you're saying, but hypothetically, if I died at the same fight over and over again, but reclaimed my echoes before dying each time, wouldn't I have the cumulative amount when I manage to beat the fight?

Ok, this is much easier then I thought. Just need to stay far away and attack after it lays down it's arms/etc. Got it to 25% before I died.

Quick question - When Ebritias does her head slam thing can you actually Visceral her face at that point? All i've been doing is taking advantage and scoring a few head shots but i've yet to try getting in close enough and stacking that beast hand damage.

The most important thing is to get to her third phase. Hit her tail, she will jump only forward and she won't hit you. Run, hit her tail, wait for her jump, run... Stay always behind
This may be slow method, but it worked for me (I was very pissed, she is the worst boss in the game, defiled version of course)

Not immediately, but that's how you trigger it if that makes sense. During that move I think it's really easy to get in a charged attack on the head, and three of those gets you a viceral attempt.

Yup, just take it easy and you'll see a lot of open spots to attack. If you 'break' the arm and make it bleed it also does a lot more damage unless you see the heal move, so I'd keep hitting the same spot for the hell of it.

So last night I took down
Martyr
in NG+ and a chalice
Rom
. The first gave me a little trouble since I was apparently playing a watered down version of him in NG but he still went down in a couple attempts. I used the holy sword in 1H mode so I could parry his melee swings, which were really easy to telegraph. I couldn't tell when he'd use the frontal explosion move so I mostly attacked from the side.

Rom, the dungeness turd
was certainly a surprise as I didn't expect him to make an appearance. It only took one attempt and but the room was so constricting. I used the same tactic of
ignoring the spiders and hopping in and out for a few slashes
and constantly being on the move.

Yeah, but only because you died over and over again.
But you weren't planing to doing that,or were you?

Interesting, I was getting
bombed non-stop by the small spiders
everytime I hopped in. That strategy made me die twice, afterwards I
took down the small ones until nothing was left
and used bolt paper to deal more damage. Worked out fine in the end.

I literally never stopped moving except to heal. My heart would skip a beat every time I'd pop a vial and a
spider would land right next to me
.

It's funny because I thought I really sucked at the game, and finally beat it today at Level 70, I have all these souls and I don't really want to upgrade anymore, All the numbers are pretty good, 40 skill, 24 Health, 22 Endurance. I know I can hardcap the skill but I'm afraid that I will really need to pump Health once I get to the chalice dungeon's which I haven't started at all yet.

Also I hate the posts that go "LOL that boss was so easy" and then 3 posts later you realize they are at 40 vitality and way over leveled for that boss. I can't really say I had a ton of trouble with any of the later bosses past
Rom
but that fight took me forever; but I could see different builds having easier/harder times with different bosses; my stubborn refusal to upgrade anything other than skill in the early game probably made some of the early bosses alot harder than they had to be, like
Vicar, and Cleric Beast
but don't remember having too much of an issue with
Father Gascione

Time to grind some of the chalice dungeon's I guess and hopfully none of them are as frustrating as
Rom

My man. Thank you ... I didn't really think she was so rough the first time through so it's nice to know that i can space it out just right and get through it even faster.

I just killed
AMygdala
in the defiled dungeon, was she the last one or what? I expected more tbh. :p Are there more defiled dungeons?
