What is this glitch people speak of? I have heard of it but not real clear on what it is.

I'm stuck right now I need help!
i just beat the witch and now I ended up in a big room with a big plate in the middle that has a locked door. When I get near the door I get grabbed by a monster that squeezes me to death. What do I do?

...You don't
go to the locked door with a big monster that squeezes you to death. Now you go fight the 2nd critical boss up the flight of stairs to the cathedral.

Have you killed
Rom
yet? When you kill him
That door should open leading to Unseen village. Also with full health after that door is opened that hand will port you to the lecture building

You need to find a NPC that can give you a
Tonsil Stone
so you can get teleported to an optional area, that leads to another optional area. I got it from a window NPC in Central Yharnam, I've read that people got theirs from the Forbidden Woods.

Basically, the elevator is a one-way only to a boss of that area. It's a optional boss perhaps. If the elevator is down and you fall from above and die in the middle on the button to move it up, when you reaweken and go back to it will be stuck down. And you get a message that the elevator can't work. Plus sometimes you pull the lever but the lift will not move.

The glitch is basically triggered from having a load screen while the lift is moving.

The same happened to a guy who didn't die on it, but while he was on the elevator was summoned in another world's player.

So i'm looking through that Google doc that was posted a little bit ago and my eyes are doing that cartoony $$ slot machine all 7s imma buy a fucking boat with all this swag thing.

Are the people who've posted these Chalice Glyphs leaving them up indefinitely? Has anyone here tried multiple glyphs only to get rejected because they are now closed out? I'm just curious as to what level of disappointment/elation i should expect when i get home from work tonight

Thank you random stranger for helping me take down the BSB. I feel as though I'm going to keep needing help with these bosses, lol

Nothing quite like being beckoned into a Defiled Chalice dungeon that hasn't been cleared yet. So little health, so many closed doors, and I have no idea where the fuck I am.

Does anybody know if Miyazaki has ever come out and said if he's a Castlevania fan? I always felt somewhat of a Castlevania vibe from Dark Souls. And that feeling seems magnified 10x in Bloodborne. When I'm running around with the cane I can almost completely trick my brain into thinking I'm playing a proper 3D Castlevania.

Tall, waif-like glowing hooded figure in Chalce Dungeon. can be targeted, but doesn't attack. What is it?

It's some kind of Pthumerian - the ancient race that was discovered by the scholars of Byrgenwerth. You'll see plenty of Pthumerians in the Chalice dungeons, but the cloaked non-aggressive one is a mystery to me. I assume it's just some kind of pacifist. I never kill them.

Making a game like Bloodborne without having been influenced by Castlevania would be like a pop musician saying they've never been influenced by the Beatles. Even if it's not direct, the influence is clear and there for all to see.

As the co-op partner. Tried getting behind him too and he just spun and did it. lol

Haven't cracked this riddle yet. Best I can figure is that surviving the blast depends on your connection to the Beckoner. Last night I joined a host from Japan. I survived the blast twice by... running directly into it. In any other game I would've died pulling that shit, but not there. So, it's possible that lag is the deciding factor here. Maybe cooperators are supposed to die and surviving is a bug.

There is one thing you missed. There is a way to get to him and not have him aggro. You get the badge and a gesture if you do.
I know about this, and it's what I wanted to do but I found out about it too late. The stuff he said to me originally freaked me out, I just want to learn more about him.

I almost feel like the
Pthumerian Descendant
is more fair than the
Keeper of Old Lords
, because at least you can roll out of his combos and not die at full health.

Still kinda hard. I'm definitely underleveled in this account.

Are you doing Defiled KoOL? what level are you sir?

Interesting... thanks. it started walking, but just stopped and stared at some tapestry on the wall.

i think the best thing about the last half of the game is the music. Even in the hunters dream i really like it. the sound in general in this game is very good - the only negative really is the crows that sound like dogs from the early part of the game.
