Is being level 80 to low to fight him? I'll try to fight him with more blood vials. Had only 8 when I fought him.

Micolash ? hell no. I think i was around 65 but i had ludwig's holy sword +10. Like i said he is one of the tamer bosses because his attacks, except 1, are very weak.
The 1 which is pretty hard hitting can be avoided when you keep pretty close when he is in his second phase/room. He won't use it then.

So, hardest boss?

Unnamed NPC Hunter in Grand Catherdral was harder than any actual boss in the game for me so far. Easily 15+ attempts to kill this fucker.

As far as actual bosses
Ebrietas took me the most tries with about 6 attempts before I got her down

I haven't actually finished yet though or done any of the Chalice dungeons.

This is what I have found:

1. Warning DO NOT kill Logarius if you haven't lit the initial lamp: There is no way to return to the cainhurst lamp from Logarius's seat, so your character can never explore the level again. If you do not light the Logarius' Seat lamp after killing Logarius (and jump off of the roof to return to the initial lamp), you will respawn in Hemwick and permanently lose all access to BOTH cainhurst AND the vileblood castle.

2.The Hemwick monument will not resummon the horses if you die in combat after the horse cutscene has triggered. This means that you will never be able to access the castle in your game even if you have the procured the cainhurst summons.

Just activate the first lamp, no problems after that.

ng + is pretty easy so far(V
icar
.I just love replaying the game knowing exactly where to go and what to do!

I'm going to try to platinum the game for some reason. Right now, I'm going through the chalice dungeons, so I can get to the Ailing Loran dungeon for the
Beast Claw
weapon.

But how the hell do I make that dungeon? I have everything required except for Ritual Blood 4. I have plenty of Ritual Blood 1, 2, 3, and 5, but of course, no 4. Where does one get this ritual blood? I've done the Central Phlyaoelekwmshn dungeon and am about halfway through the Lower. Still no Ritual Blood 4 to be found.

Any tips?

Yeah but come on, the first lamp is right there. Just light it and you'll be fine.

They're saying if you never manage to light any of the lamps, you can't return. Just make sure you light a lamp and you're fine.

Yes, these things are true.

As long as you've lit the first lamp, you're fine, but it is kind of a weird oversight overall.

Yeah, but you lit the lamp, so everything is okay.

so
daughter of the cosmso
in the isz chalice is starting to piss me off
not because shes so hard, but because her damage output is all over the place
the same attack sometimes takes away a sliver of my health yet other times it will one shot me when I have full

So the crazy
old lady disappeared from the Cathedral Ward. Where'd she go and can I find her anywhere?

This is at the very end of the game right before the last boss.

Damn, I'm level 50 with +7 Ludwiggens.

Ran past everything because ain't nobody got time for that...

I also died to Micopoo.

You have to keep trying Lower Phtumeru, or try Hintertomb. It's random, and drops from any depth 3 dungeon.

Well, I think it depends on how it hits you as well. If just the tail end of an attack catches you then you'll take less damage then if it fully connects and smashes you down. At least, that's my understanding.

Thanx, Ive lit the lamp just left of the entrance. But about what lamp is the Wiki talking? Can I lit that one before or after the boss fight?

I have lit the first lamp in Cain
hurst Castle
. Right at the start.
Im reading in Wiki that I shouldn't beat the boss cause I could never return to the place. Whats up with that? Am I safe?

I believe it's the case that if you kill the boss without lighting the lamps, then warp back to the Hunter's Dream, you can't go back.

She is the last member of Vilebloods alive and an enemy of the church. Alfred is on the other side, member of the church on a mission to kill all the Vilebloods. After you reach the queen, there are 'Unopened Summons' on the table on the right. Collect them and give them to Alfred who is near the entrance to Forbidden Woods. He will go to Cainhurst and kill the queen. Go there, talk to him and look at the dead queen. Examine her and take 'Queenly Flesh.' After that go to cathedral Ward and the first location where you met Alfred and there you'll find him dead. He completed his mission and killed himself. Collect his rune. Then, go to Altar of Despair and go to the end to the spider sculpture or something. Use Queenly flesh there and you will revive the queen.

Oh, I figured it'd be something like that but I didn't know Alfred would kill himself. Will try on my next playthrough. I gave Alfred the Summons but I never came back.

Am I just too under-leveled for Headless Bloodletting Beast in Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice? I'm level 100. This boss is kicking my ass in it's 2nd phase. It would explain why I haven't gotten any responses at all for coop with the bell.

I'm trying to get all trophies in one playthough and this boss is standing in my way for the Y
harnam, Pthumerian Queen
trophy. I don't want to be too over-leveled for when I do the third ending and fight
Gehrman again + Moon Presence
.

I feel guilty for using a guide to reach
Cainthurst Castle
not because I don't need help but because unlocking it without knowing anything would have been so fucking Bram Stokeresque. By the way I used little to no help during my playthrough but I had to search how to resist frenzy... I had like a billion Insight points lol.

At final boss, co-oppers keep getting two-shot. Level up your vitality, people! It's a bit annoying to spend insight and time waiting, only to have the helper die within 15 seconds of stepping through nightmare fog. At this rate I'll have to do this boss solo :/

Ok make a build for one weapon then with no real trick form and only basic attacks.

How many weapons do you really use? Most people are probably going to go through the game mostly if not entirely with one weapon, you realize.

Because scaling plummets at 50 it's also entirely practical to have two offensive stats at 50 in a build. Tonitrus as a kin boss "problem solver" is a perfectly fine use of your secondary offensive stat, especially if you're running Blades of Mercy or Logarius's Wheel as your primary weapon.

You can also make use of Fire/Bolt/Arcane gems on an Arcane build, though I can't really speak to the effectiveness of that since I've never done it. I seriously doubt it measures up to the damage Tonitrus does, in any case.

They're at like half health, very easy to get one shot.

I mainly mean her charge attack
she just charged at me four times, twice it took 50% square on, once it took around 80% when it clipped me and another it took 100% square on
makes no sense

Beat him.

So yeah.... M

L
ogarius
fucked my world up something good. He's like the perfect boss: Godlike range attacks, decent melee attacks, and makes you work for your damage. Got him about halfway before I got jobbed due to Vergil's Level 3 attack.

There's a lamp after the boss.

When you get to the boss fight, you have to go through a jump that does not let you return that way. What it's saying is there is an oversight where, if you never link that first lantern but you do light the one at the boss, you can't explore Cainhurst ever again.

So, I'm kinda stuck. I beat
Paarl
and the
Witches
, got the
workshop tool
. Where do I go next? I wandered around the first headstone area and I can't find anything new. My second has
two lamps
and my third has
one

Any hints how to progress?

Paper is just as effective, and the damage difference sometimes is so minor you might as well not bother. I've done an Arcane/STR build. It's not worth it, I know first hand. The Tonitrus can get strong, but it's moveset sucks ass. Having an element gem in a weapon is more than likely going to be a damage loss on anything and everything.

I would say Fire and Bolt are the best elements in the game, and you can get your Fire fix from the Flamesprayer which does insane damage on some bosses when buffed with Bone Marrow Ash.

What's wrong with the Tonitrus's move set? Only thing I could see you fault it for is being boring.

Yeah I did that a few times.
So when she went out does that mean she isn't coming back? Did she die somewhere?

If you warp out and she's back (you have to read the note on her chair for the game to acknowledge she's gone), then she's not dead. If she's still gone, then...you can find her body outside.

Have you defeated V

yet?

Ugh, I figured. I'll keep trying. Are the Ritual Blood 4s usually enemy drops or in chests? Behind secret walls?
What I do to get Ritual Blood 4 is through enemy farming.

There are two sack guys in a Standard Central Pthumeru Chalice, on the first floor in a side door between the first two lanterns. Once's in a lower floor past a spider, the other is on the same floor past another spider. They have a chance to drop Ritual Blood 4.

It's tedious and the loading times are annoying, but the droprate isn't terrible.
If there's a better way to farm them though I'd like to hear it.

Do chalice enemies scale like the normal game when you start NG+? I know the dungeons themselves don't go away, but I'm not sure if the enemies become harder once you start NG+...

I did my first Ihyll root chalice and of course it had to suck. Shitty loot (almost all materials and useless gems) and hard as fuck. Really, the Hemrick witches as a standard mobs aren't fun :/
