So I suppose I'm at the end of the game, but there are a few things I never figured out...

1.
How to get the badge to make vileblood weapons

2.
How to even perform beasthood

3.
How to get into the gate right outside of 1st Floor Sickroom

4.
How to get into Iosefka's room

5.
How to open the door at the bottom of Cathedral Ward past where the Reaper with the whip-scythe weapons is

6.
How to open the door (or even get to it) as you are dropping down in the Healing Church workshop
1.
Kill Martyr Logarius in Cainhurst. Look up how to get there if you don't know/want to figure out yourself.
2.
No one knows, presumably they'll add it to the game at some point. Maybe they're still balancing it

3.
See 4.

4.
Go to Forbidden Woods. There is a cave by the dogs in cages. Cross the poison lake to a ladder.

5.
You can't

6.
Look it up on Youtube to see what platforms you gotta jump down to. There's a couple of ways to approach it, I jumped to a platform from the middle bridge/plank thing but yeah

Ok gaf what are yalls thoughts on DLC for this game? Do you think we will gert some? Maybe weapons? Or new areas and bosses?

Top of the list should be stuff that causes the community to last longer. More ways to upgrade weapons, more covenants, better online structure, easier ways to coop in chalice dungeons.

I could see one large DLC. Just like the other DLC we'll probably get some new weapons and clothes along with a whole new area to explore with a couple of bosses. If it's like Dark Souls then it will probably be multiple areas connecting to one another.

so is there any really easy strategy to beat
Wet nurse
? She spanked me over and over last night like I was a bad boy and she'd one shot my buddy when he tried to join to help. Now he tells me he finished the game and so he cant join me. So I'm all alone with this crazy gal :(

I think I'm Level 77 now

Ha, I actually beat this on my first go...

Get a good stabbing weapon and get a quick hit in after she attacks to wear her down, then when she does the purple fog thing dodge her attacks until it clears. Just slowly poke her to death.

Off the top of my head, I don't know 1 and 2.

You need to head to the Forbidden Woods, make your way to the village area and stay around the left hand side. You'll see some dog cages right by a big gate, there's a pathway left of the dog cages that will eventually lead you to that gate at the clinic.
4.
Same as 3, from Forbidden woods, you'll shortcut back to the clinic and open up another area, which will take you to the clinic.
5. Where is this, again?
Are you talking about the place where you drop down from the top of the cathedral or the area that's closed off before a bunch of vases, cause I believe that stays closed, but it connects to Cleric beast area.
6. Is this the area that you're talking about?
Hope some of that helps.

Hope they make hunter tools more viable, feel like they are too weak, doesn't have to be a pure arcane build ala magic/pyro, just make it stronger and give it some endurance...the amount of damage they do for the bullets they use is too much.

Main thing that is making me want to dive back into dark souls 2, build variety. Dread the slow combat though.

I'd buy it.

Can't see it not getting DLC. Hope it's good (history tells us it should be)

Great I feel the same love this game never want it to end lol

This is still happening so I'm quoting myself to see if I can get any help because it's supremely annoying.

I'm having an issue right now where everytime I start an online game, it says I've been disconnected and returns me to the main menu. Very very annoying. Anyone know about this? I'm in a chalice dungeon if that makes a difference.

Does this happen to anyone else? New problem to me.

1. Caincurst Castle. Wear the crown where the boss is at. Join the covenant.
2. Have to be using Beast Blood Pellet or the Beast Claw weapon.
3. Explore the Forbidden Woods thoroughly.
4. Do the above.
5. What door are you talking about exactly?
6. You gotta land on some careful scaffolding. Easiest way is to look up a video or numerous trials and error.

For 5 you know the area with the Reaper at the end who has a scythe on a long chain? After you beat you you go down the stairs....
and there are a bunch of vases, a chest, and a door that doesn't open

Thanks for the help! For 5, yeah I think I read that before.
It's a possible DLC area right?

So what about this one which I forgot before:

7. How to get to the eyeball thing I dropped into a pit after pulling a lever

I'm trying to continue on with my run through the chalice dungeon. I finished the Lower Pthumerian dungeon a while ago and
from the looks of it, there's supposed to be a fourth floor, but that's not available in my created dungeon. Can I quick search the same dungeon and try it again, or do I need to use materials and make my own again. I figured the reason this happened was because I added the offerings to make a Rotting Lower Pthumerian dungeon instead.

Any advice would be appreciated. The grind for ritual blood is kind of annoying.

Go to the room after the spiders and the hunter, head downstairs and there will be a lift in the middle of the floor now. Use it and you'll find it :)

In Nightmare of mensis when your in building with those big guys that have the chain. Thoe guys shooting crossbows at you there is a cae that takes youdoen to where the brain is. do make contact gesture for about 25-30secs for rune then kill it she wont attack

Okay, so I arrived at
Nightmare Frontier
and all's well, I killed two hunters there without much problem and then I went into a cave and was looking around when out fucking nowhere some giant ass motherfucker throws a fucking boulder at me and one hits me.

First time I've been pissed off at this game, this was pretty cheap.

Cool I'll look for it. Cheers

It's good for echoes and vials but I tested it yesterday and the lecture hall way is still better 5 trips is 116k+ and the loading is only 8-10 seconds each time. One trip is only about 2 minutes....It's like 20-25 seconds of loading at NM....Plus the lecture hall it's insanely good for bullets...plus it's safer.. One wrong move with those pigs and it's over.

Also not sure if everyone knows.. But you get a little more echoes if you kill an enemy with the 2 hand attack.

Yea their boulders hurt badly. Get in their shit and their melee hurts but easy to evade

Oh okay. That is just there. I have no idea why there is a prompt but that door is supposed to lead to the Cleric Beast boss area.

7. Teleport to Mergo's Loft: Base lamp. Take the elevator that is indoor. Go downstairs where there are holes on the floor. Find another elevator that looks like it will go down into the hole

Ah yeah, that got me good too. They're not too bad to kill, just remember that there's usually another one in the distance, so get a few hits in and run out. Getting bopped like that sure sucks though.

What about dungeons I have in progress? Should I finish those up before I finish the game? Or will they be at the same point in NG+? Thanks.

No you keep all Chalice progress along with the chalices you got of the bosses in game like the one from
Blood starved beast
Erbritias
or whater her name is and
ightmare frontier boss

Second playthrough, all bosses solo'd in one attempt so far: CB, Gascoigne, BSB, Witches, VA, Shadows, Paarl...GAF, place bets on who will end my streak.

Finding strength weapons immeasurably superior to skill in this game. Staggering is so important.

Yeah, I went back there and I killed two of them but then another threw another boulder at me and got me again. I'm gonna stop for tonight and try again tomorrow, for my sanity.

Absolutely beautiful area though.

Did you have the game suspended in rest mode? Known issue. Exit/close the game and relaunch it, then online will work. They are going to patch this soon from what I hear.

Waste of skin class, naked, no weapons, no leveling run...yikes.

EDIT: Takes half an hour just to kill the first werewolf...can't imagine.

Baha to you sir, for even spending 30 minutes on the clinic wolf. Rats off to ya.

I think I'd rather dive into a pool of lemon juice and razor blades.

Can i use two eye caryll runes to up discovery even more? Or should i just use one?

Edit: nevermind wearing both increases it more.

Oh shit I didn't even look into staggering for this game yet :/ so it's bound to strength for this game?

I just beat
Amygdala,
and neither lamp in this area returns me to the Hunter's Dream. The prompt shows up but nothing seems to happen when I press X.

Anyone know what's up with that?

Not necessarily...it just happens that strength-scaling weapons stagger a lot easier than skill-scaling ones. It's more about the weapons than the stat investment.

Is the sinister bell maiden still alive? You might be getting invaded.

I dont understand head
less bloodletting beast
I enter the area, get knocked around like a rag doll and die within seconds. I literally dont even have time to roll away

Cheers good luck happy hunting. Where you able to find the
blood rock after finding the choir bell after ckearng all those walking frenzy brain things

Yeah. I used it to
max my Ludwig sword. Not sure if that was the best weapon for it, but I've used it as my main weapon for most of the game
