Took this with my iPhone yesterday and did some on the fly editing with ProCam.

This was taken on the High Line in NYC, and I just love the contrast between industrial (train tracks) and nature (cherry blossoms, trees, ect)

So I just bought the Canon T5 rebel DSLR as my first ever DSLR, I got it on sale with 18mm to 55mm IS lens, and EF-S 75mm to 300mm lens kits for around 350, was this a good deal? I know it's not as great as some DSLR's but is it a great beginners camera?

Well considering it goes for around 400.00 with just the kit lens, I'd say its a pretty good deal. I started on the T2i, the T5 is definitely a good beginners camera.
