Maybe the plastic flesh melted off in the fire. What if that's how they reveal that it's Luke without showing his face at first. We just see some badass cloaked Jedi and then his hand gets damaged revealing it's a robot hand.

I was just pointing out that I find it interesting this new trailer still does not specify the 18th. It makes me wonder if Disney is toying with releasing it on a different date in late December. For example, the first Age of Ultron trailer states a generic May 2015 date whilst the second trailer specifies May 1, 2015. It's not uncommon for a major release to move up a couple days.

To add to all the other reactions: I definitely got goosebumps, teared up a LITTLE, and even clapped (once) when Solo showed. I'm so on the hype train, even though I've been mixed on Abrams in the past.

It's also used when formally addressing an individual rather than informally, which seems appropriate for the situation the dialog originates. Like "Hello" instead of "Hey."

You don't adress one son/daughter/nephew/niece as "vous" though. It's way more formal than "Hello" instead of "Hey" ("Hello" isn't even formal actually).
