Its funny because I am never serious but I like reading peoples reactions.
You can see pop-in at a distance in that gifLoD will be nowhere near that good on consoles. Rocks appear out of thin air like 10ft in front of you on PS4 BF4
I honestly don't care if the game doesn't end up looking like that. The fact that we're getting AT-ATs, Y-Wings, X-Wings, etc is more than enough for me.
Solid netcode, no buggy and I'm sold. There's no way I'm pre-ordering though. Waiting for post-launch reviews and GAF impressions. Also keeping an eye on DLC/Season Pass bullshit.
There are differences between this game and previous installments, so I think the question is validYou can in other bf games, so it's safe to assume you can in this game to too
Hi Cuco! You can do that in Battlefield, I wouldn't see why couldn't in Battlefront.
Hi, Madgame!
So third is default but you can switch?3rd person is default.

SONY exclusive marketing rights!
ok trailer
There's nothing to "call out". I've been posting impressions from a lot of people just for posterity's sake. I didn't say I agree with this person or something. It's ok.Shinobi, I hate to call you out. But posting hype based tweets from people has only lead to trouble in the past.
The chance of the PS4 version looking like the trailer or the screenshots posted is very low for a lot of reasons.
Not the practice, but the celebration of it, like its going to enhance the game.
Its funny because I am never serious but I like reading peoples reactions. Just having fun.
It amuses me that this bothers people.
Xbox and PS have been doing this for years on multiplatform games. I don't get the sudden outrage?
i dont think it bothers anyone, it just makes people laugh
wtf is this?
What the fuck
??????
This is some pretty embarrassing shit right here.
Is this a first? Cheering for marketing rights holy shit
Devs explicitly said they were targeting those visuals and made very conceivable effort to showcase that. Pre-rendered is pre-rendered whether it uses game assets or not.
It's kind of like cheering for exclusive DLC.
So third is default but you can switch?
Please direct me to the laughter.
I'd rather they sacrifice attempts to get the game to 60fps and strive toward getting the detail and lighting as good as possible at 30. They've obviously constructed staggeringly accurate realtime assets for this game, but we're only going to see a fraction of that at 60fps.
There's nothing to "call out". I've been posting impressions from a lot of people just for posterity's sake. I didn't say I agree with this person or something. It's ok.
So the lack of a single player mode is confirmed? Cause that would kinda suck...
So is this game gonna be Split screen like the original two? That's the deal breaker for me.
So the lack of a single player mode is confirmed? Cause that would kinda suck...
please be real

Yeah. Still no laughter. Perhaps show me?
My observation of it bothering people is a lot more accurate than laughter.
Thanks!! Another question - anything else you noticed that might be relevant but not evident from what we saw? Anything you didn't like?
Is there any chance we see that 7 minute demo the press saw?
Yeah. Still no laughter. Perhaps show me?
My observation of it bothering people is a lot more accurate than laughter.
There are also plenty of "video game" things you can see throughout the trailer. Explosions are 2D and aren't the highest res, particles are also not the highest res and clip through stuff and the waterfall was 2D. These little things give me hope that the game will look like this, just with lower IQ.
It's the same kind of single player campaign as previous Battlefront games.
There's no campaign but there are single player missions.
No, there is a SP mode, it's just not a traditional story based campaign.
It's missions that can also be played in split-screen/online co-op.
Have you clicked the quote to see the actual post? The real reason for all the laughter was cleverly hidden behind quote tags.

The guy posted four celebration .gifs for Sony getting a marketing deal. I don't see why anyone aside from Sony's head of marketing that should give that much of a shit. I mean, it seems like he was more excited about the marketing deal than the trailer.
Now we're doing the thing where we explain something funny and it's not funny anymore.
Star Wars.
