Shadow of Yharnam and Rom
down on NG+
It was a bit harder because of the chance of 1 shots, but the extra stamina compensates it.
Finally completed
Eileens quest for the first time, only chalice dungeons left.

Most annoying enemies IMOTBH

1. Singing Brain chicks.
2. Those bloodsucking motherfuckers.
3. Dogs. Fuck dogs.
4. Worms
...
7. The illithid dudes, white tentacle face fucks

There are a lot of other dudes that can be tough, sages, rolly polly dudes, bell ringing women that summon spiders, but none of them are as endlessly frustrating as these motherfuckers. IMO, of course.

"Bloodsucking motherfuckers"? You mean the tick-women or what?

Though, yeah, I don't know what dogs did to Miyazaki, but it must have been catastrophic. He seems to think they're the most dangerous animal in the universe.

New load screen with different types of info about the game, nice.

Took 30secs to load my game from the menu to game. Tried it again took roughly the same time.

Any armor sets that are useful to purchase using insight? I am annoyed how you can't see how the sets compare to what you currently have equipped...

Just beat the bosses in unseen village.

So UK Gaffers - has anyone actually received the guidebook yet? I've had it on pre-order from Amazon but they keep emailing me they're struggling to get hold of it. Anybody know what's going on?

Holy shit, I've just got to the Unseen Village and this place is brutal and terrifying. Those tall fucks with the sack over their shoulder are kicking my goddamn arse.

Just run through it. I mean if you're in the later part of the game. Not first time you get there.

They are rather easy to bait for Viscerals, however. And leaping attacks, especially with heavy weapons like Axe or Ludwig, is your friend.

Best strategy is to hit them few times and when they start their buff charge attack to back and visceral. Should kill them or atleast make it so that 2 hits will kill them.

Not a big DS gamer. Played DS1 for a while until the Gargoyles but it wasn't for me. Really enjoying Bloodborne though! Just reached the other day Micolash and I'm figuring out how to beat him. Found out the rooms he needs to run to so you can deal some damage yesterday so I'll give it another go this evening. Also need to check out some more Chalice dungeons for some delicious Blood Gems so I can pimp my weapons some more.

They don't fit through some doorways, just hit them a few times to go crazy and retreat to those passages to finish them off.

Maul them. Ludwig is your friend (or Kirk): R2 forward jump attack, then L2, 1-2 swings and they are done. When they go kaioken is also a good moment to do heavy damage. Their attack moveset is limited and they are pretty easy to dodge (dodge forward / diagonal forward).

I'm getting the same from Amazon :( last update from them was an estimated delivery of April 29th

So hopefully they'll definitely be delivered next week then.

Just beat the bosses in unseen village.

To be honest, the stats on armor are mostly negligible, so you generally can just grab the set that looks the best to you and stick with it.

That said, the Bone Ash set you unlock in Chalice Dungeons has some of the best overall stats in the game, and specifically has good stats for dealing with one of the most obnoxious Chalice bosses, so if you're really looking to min-max to the limit that should probably be high on your list.

The Cainhurt set also has some pretty good stats, but if I remember right that one's sold for blood echoes, not Insight.

Err... actually, I'm pretty sure they do. I got the trophy from obtaining the Lost Wheel and Burial Blade, neither of which I had from normal story events at the time.

Pretty sure you just need any version of a given weapon for it to count.
Hmm, I might go for the Logarius Wheel from the chalices then.

P
raal____
on NG+ is incredibly nasty.
I either can't get into his blindspot, or I do and he just throws out Pikachu WoG.

At least I was finally able to
befriend the hunter in Old Yarnham and learn more about why he was trying to kill me. I quite like the dude.

Hello Bloodborne Gaf! I'm back again after a 3 week break. Just killed
DarkBeast Paarl
and holly hell it was easy.... By far the easiest boss for me until now at least.

Last night we tried the Martyr L and it was just frustrating...yes we died. What we saw was no-where what we've seen in any videos. Every boss I've faced has attacked; he did nothing but constantly dodge and retreat and spamming the Skulls. We could not get close and when we did he would just spam skulls at point blank knocking us back. Then he would retreat & dodge and just keep spamming.

I tried solo and he did the same thing....get close and he would either spam the skulls or dodge & retreat and then spam .Could not get to him and only once did he engage in melee. I even tried the Long Axe and he would move when I was about to hit. I tried to shoot & stun but he would stagger for a second move & spam skulls

Lol cant wait until you get to Nightmare of Mensis if you haven't already.
That'll test your arachnophobia.

late chalice spoiler

There's also a room in a depth 5 chalice with 2 maidens who summon red spiders non stop.
Should be fun as well hehe.

I don't know about this. Towards the end of the game I started switching my armor depending on the situation (Arcane, Frenzy, pure damage) and it seemed to make a big difference in how much damage I could sustain.

I did a chalice with 3 bell ringing women quite close to each other, I made the mistake to run through them... Got a fucking army of spider on my ass, that was really frustrating.
Nothing is worse than spiders especially the ones with
human faces

I hear a lot of people complaing about this but I have no idea what it's about. It all looks good to me. Can someone explains ?

A 30 fps framerate is to provide 30 unique frames per second. According to Digital Foundry's analysis, Bloodborne does a very good job at this.

However, correct framepacing is to make sure each frame is on the screen for the same amount of time, 33.33 ms per frame for a 30 fps game. Bloodborne has a problem with this, which results in judder even when the game is providing the correct 30 unique frames per second.
