Just Cause 3 gameplay trailer up

JC2 got very repetitive very quickly. The destruction was OK, but the enemies were rubbish to fight against. The general land design was almost non existent, And land vehicles were hot steaming garbage.

The only plus point was the flying stuff.

Nice

Is it just me or is something wrong with the color grading? Contrast and saturation seem way too harsh.

It looks as if they put it through Instagram. That being said, the game play looks just like the old Just Cause, but new. I want it.

Nnnngh.

I still hate them for the Twitter bullshit they pulled last week, but dang if this trailer did not get my juices flowing.

Getting this. I need to recreate the scenes where you tether a helicopter to a bridge and use a fighter jet as a rocket.

looks like it's more of the same "create your own fun becasue we can't create it ourselves" gameplay...which i can't say i was a huge fan of for more then 10 minutes. once you attatch a guy to a gas canister i felt i'd seen the best of the game. i dunno. mad max looks more interesting at this point. co-op might change my mind though...everything's better with friends.

Oh man looking good, I wonder if they will include any multiplayer with this one or will the modders be in charge of that again.

Looks bad and generic.

I'll check it out during one of the inevitable live streams to promote it, but meh for now.

Loved Just Cause 2 and this looks like it could be shitloads of fun. That wingsuit will make things interesting...

I prefer Just Cause's true sandbox to the highly scripted nature of GTA's mission design.

i feel a combination of both would be nice. the lack of direction and quality in it's story missions (and story itself) hurt just cause 2 imo. it was fine to have this wacky freedom in it's open world. it was good for just pratting about. but the game gave very little incentive to progress narratively. i mean, did anyone actually bother with the garbage story? or did most people just strap gas canisters to things?

Does nothing for me i'm afraid. I think Mad Max looks the more interesting of the two, if i'm in a comparing sort of mood and only had a choice of these 2. 8)

Just Cause 2's engine to produce its massive open world was amazing at the time, and it looks like Avalanche Studios has completely amped it up for this third game.

And the colors! I'm glad they retained that from Just Cause 2.

Hope it's not as mind numbingly repetitive as the second game was.

They need to craft a smaller world with more to do, more mission variety, more engaging enemies, and just a more focused approach to gameplay and world design.

What's the point of having a huge game world if there's literally nothing to do beyond the same old repetitive tasks after a few hours?

JC2 was anything but repetitive, it was an amazing sandbox.

OT: looks like a just cause 2 sequel , which is what I wanted.

I hope they don't shit it up with microtransactions etc.
If it's just the game shown in the trailer with no bullshit or tricks then i'll be there.

JC2 Was an enormous toybox with not nearly enough to do. You see everything there is to see in the first couple hours and are then left to repeat it for the remainder of the game.

I dunno, trailer did nothing to show that the game is anything more than a prettier JC2. More excited for Mad Max at this point.

Just Cause 2 demo was one of my favourite game demos of all time, cannot wait until the demo version of Just Cause 3!

Seriously though, looks really fun going by the trailer.

Yussss! I can't wait :D

I've been craving a new gen dumb game to play, everything has been far too serious and polished to be super enjoyable. I suppose Sunset Overdrive was all right but after the missions were done the environment didn't have much to offer.

Just Cause 3 this year and Crackdown the year after? :D Weeee

Hopefully this is out earlier this holiday season as well like maybe late September? Guessing that is classed as Fall, October?!

I don't bother about the story missions in GTA anyway.

To the point where I can't even be bothered to finish GTA games.
