This was probably my favorite episode of the series to date. I've actually thought to myself "How are they so sure Eobard doesn't have listening devices around the lab or in their house?" Heck, they almost got caught with him walking in the room while they plan the trap several times. So I wasn't super shocked that they got played. Joe was good at it, everyone else...not so much.

It's going to be pretty weird to have Star Labs stuff without Dr. Wells around though.

They show you how in the previous flashback.

In the flashback when Barry was in the hospital she was sat with him, when she touched him she got a spark of lightning from him, then in the end scene she got the same spark of lighting and it clicked for her, Barry = The Flash.

I actually thought it was a decent way for her to figure it out, sure its not spinning around and changing in front of her and then stopping a tsunami reveal, but it was still pretty decent.

To be fair, he's been distorting his voice/face less lately and they had just had an awkward conversation about him being the only one who didn't get powers, and stalking the Flash is her full time job.
 
I don't really have a problem with how Iris found out who The Flash is, much better than other ways TV shows and movies have gone about revealing something just as big.

Have been loving this show since the first episode and after a few episodes it easily became my favourite active TV show. But from episode 15 onwards I have to say it's the best TV show I've ever watched. Each episode is getting better and better while I'm here thinking it isn't even possible. Can't wait for the last three episodes!
 
Watching last night's ep, holy FUCK Wells doing the speech directly to the camera is fucking harrowing shit.

You see how slow and methodically he's speaking to Cisco. And when he starts vibrating the hand, jeeeesus christ
 
I don't care what anyone says The Flash is 100% better than Arrow season 3. Overall plot is better. Flashbacks are better. Tension is better. Even the dumb love stuff is executed better. I can't wait to watch Flash every week and I am 3 episodes behind Arrow, even though I have the iTunes season pass, because I just don't care anymore.

Arrow's been all over the place this season, it was decent enough up until the mid-season finale then it took a serious dive in quality. Just awful.

I think Flash has been great all season, just get's better with each episode. It's found the right balance between the fun, campy elements and the more serious elements. Plus it has something Arrow doesn't have this season - an interesting villain.
 
I'd certainly like Arrow more if it had more fun with itself like Flash. I don't read many Green Arrow comics, but my point of reference stems from the animated shows and Green Arrow is always comic relief.

Arrow needs a better balance of dark and brooding and... not dark and brooding.

Maybe Ollie gains a sense of humor when he turns green.

Thing about Ollie is that he doesnt really have a life besides conflicted vigilante. Barry has other facets to his life. Friends to hang out with and blow off some steam. Even Batman has the Bruce Wayne side of his life.

This is like saying "I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but Breaking Bad is a very good show."
 
I really hope they don't ignore that Barry was 100% willing to allow Cisco to be killed just to get his precious confession. Fake Well's hand was right next to Cisco and because of the barrier there is no way Barry could get in.

Probably both, exaggerated so the audience gets the connect. Though I assume for Iris, it's mostly a matter of that specific static shock feeling is the same as the one in the flashback when she touched Barry (rather than trying to do the mental gymnastics required to think she's never experienced static shocks before).

That is a very good question.
The way Oliver is right now he wouldn't just go to help out a friend. Plus since he has his league gear he's clearly still with them. The Reverse Flash is probably the most dangerous man in the flarrowverse so after hearing what he's done I'm sure Ra's would want him dead

Does the general public even know about Reverse Flash? And even then, how would word of his existence get to the League?

I honestly wonder if people like that just have really carefree lives and need to watch a bunch of drama/gritty stuff to feel more alive(but I digress).

Not everything has to be serious all the time.

But do they know about his ability to time travel? If it's just his speed, they'd go after Barry as well. And even then, they'd still probably go after Barry as well unless it's about Eobard's willingness to kill.

I'm not as down on this season of Arrow as many people are, but anyone saying it's better than it has ever been is batshit insane.

There has been a clear decline in its quality this season.

Felicity's just seems to secrete some brain enhancing drug that makes men think clearer. How else do you explain Ray getting his epiphany for the ATOM suit after sleeping with her?
