I agree. Like they both got paid and that's what matters to them. Both are hall of famers. Both are successful. Both have more money than they can count like. It was fine. Boring, but I expected it. Some people are really acting like they would go all out against someone who is just as fast and almost equal to you. No one is going out like that. This was a very calculated fight... It gets no better than that. I just feel bad for the people who paid for it...

Those are the rules and most levels coming up to pro are all about the points, nothing else matters. Mayweather knows the game and exploited the rules to his advantage.

So yeah, that is boxing but would have to go back to bareknuckle if you want to get away from the defending side. Too easy with those huge gloves to take away the sting and harder to knock out. Would be better for brain damage long time potentially as well. At the very least make those gloves smaller.

First boxing match I've ever watched in my life (I've watched a little UFC but not much) so I'm 100% disinterested in the specific participants.

I did actually enjoy watching it, but certainly didn't live up to the hype it generated. Mayweather has a horribly boring style of fighting and if that's what the sport of boxing fosters/rewards then I can't say I have a lot of interest in watching any more of it. If only there was some good stuff going on in the UFC.

Ronda vs Cyborg might happen one day. That would be the UFC equivalent of this.

I guarantee you it'll be more exciting as well.
