Halo 5 Guardians: #huntthetruth

Frankie Issued Ben's ticket? Frankie=ONI operative confirmed.

343 is ONI and MCC and Halo 5 are one big conspiracy

MCC (Master Chief) was once regarded as a savior, something we needed, but when we needed it the most, it was old, unreliable, and wouldn't cooperate with anyone. People look back at MCC as a traitor.

343 (ONI) luckily have a brand new game (Spartan) in the form of Halo 5 (Locke). This one is new, reliable, fast, strong, new #butts, and is guaranteed to work.

343, like ONI, are phasing out the MCC with Halo 5.

Is this true, or is it one big bullshit theory that took a minute to think of? Make sure to comment, like, and subscribe to #HUNTtheTRUTH

rocket flood + corridors = no fun
Nobody forced you to use it there though. And if you did decide to use it there, I hope you'll at least enjoy the chain reaction of explosions. I know I did :D
Flood >>>>>>>> Prometheans

Gimme a shotgun with plenty of shells, drop me off in the library and I'm a happy man.
Yessss!
Agreed. The flood in Halo CE were really satisfying to fight. Shotgun + Grenades + Flood = Fun.
High five. You guys are the real MVP.

popping them with a headshot is pretty fun, but we got that with grunts.

Like I find them alright, I don't exactly hate them and they can make interesting enemies especially the binary rifle ones when the climb and surround but yeah, grunts and jackals fill that role. Knights although OP in idiotic ways (teleports omg) they at least do feel different, and hoping they expand on that difference.

Crawlers are satisfying when you line up the perfect headshot and 'pop' them, but that kind of highlights how little feedback there was when shooting any other Prometheans.

I'm curious to see how a Big Daddy or Big Sister type enemy would work in Halo. Something tanky and agile, capable of evading, shooting, and rushing you. That might actually be threatening compared to the cumbersome Hunters.

No shields for them obviously since that would just be as frustrating as a teleporting Knight.

After being holed up in my place for weeks, it was about time I had a few visitors… This was not the kind of visit I was expecting.
.

I could see the Flood returning in a new form, honestly. We've only seen 343i's version of the Flood in Halo 4 mp mode and they look pretty different compared to what we're used to. The Flood was only one "form" of the Precursors, so a second judgement and a new Flood-cousin could be coming. In my opinion Halo 5's third act would be the place to do that and I bet it will happen. The game's gonna be heavy on the particle effects, and with what we saw of the Hunter-worms in Nightfall, the mental pictures I have of 343i's take on the Flood are terrifying and glorious. Can't wait.

Oh yeah, they could be in any number of forms. These are creatures that transcended material, after all, they already chose countless forms to live in before they were attacked and made the Flood.

Okay, someone needs to figure out what those weird noises at the end of the episode mean.

Edit: Really damn good episode. This show is so fucking good!

Oh, hey, it's
Colbie Smulders again!

Not who I expected to be
the one kicking down the door,
lol.

EDIT: Holy crap, M'Shak really is amazing.

These keep getting better.

It shouldn't be possible, but they're making the first few episodes feel like amateur hour.

So.

Damn.

Good.

So, it's pretty clear the boxing coach
was an AI. BB, maybe?

Also, any bets on who
Pharaoh
will turn out to be?

I'm guessing
Halsey.

Who was M'Shak again? Trying to remember what he did for Ben...

M'Shak was the conspiracy theorist who kept bugging him in the early episodes and... I think ended up putting him in contact with some people?

Latest episode reveals that he's been playing a much larger part behind the scenes, though.

Yeah, thought so...

I loved how he just pops up after Petra asks for him :p

Morse code at the end. Could someone translate it?

I thought it might have been morse, wasn't sure though.

I've thought this with pretty much every single episode so far, but...

Also LOL Petra, I loved that part.

"Ray takes care of that part"
"Nope, no I don't"

Loved that whole three way interaction, plus M'Shak

Highlight of today's audio
"I will immediately shoot part of it off"

Holy shit M'shak. This has gotten even better, damn.

Yup. I'd love to fight actual Forerunners or something instead of Prometheans, I prefer my enemies to be organic. I think the Prometheans are the most dull enemies in the series yet, and a lot of it has to do with them not feeling like individuals and the lack of personality compared to other species.
