WOWZERS!
There are some really strange things going on in this thread. Perhaps because there are less uk members on the forum that you think this type of thing will go unnoticed. The gap is wider than you think. Go to your local game store and ask them about that ratio. You obviously know that that statement is false but if you think it's true then I purpose a bet.
The terms of which are as follows. If the XB announce UK sales of 2 million before Black Friday you get avi control if not then I get your avi control.
There is no way the ratio has fallen here.
Lol anecdotal evidence. You do know what a ratio is right? I'm not talking about a sales gap where the PS4 is xxx units above the Xbox One, but the
ratio between the two consoles.
Back when the PS4 hit 1 million, the ratio was 1.5:1 against the Xbox One. That's a 330k sales gap between the two.
The Xbox One hit 1 million in mid November. By January 24th 2015 both the Xbox One and the PS4 combined hit 3.3m. The PS4 can't be at 2 million here.
One month later the PS4 + One sold an additional 200k. PS4 can't be at 2 million here.
2 months later the PS4 finally hits 2 million. Now then, you see that the PS4 wasn't just selling all those units by itself. It can take a bigger number than the Xbox One, but it didn't take a fast majority of it.
Let's assume the ratio was and still is 1.5:1. That's equals 2,000,000:1,333,000
That is an impossibility and so is any ratio that is higher than 1.6:1. The rest of November, December, and 4 extra months of sales does not equal 333k. A ratio of 1.4:1 is 2,000,000: 1,400,000. 1.3:1 is 2,000,000:1,500,000 etc etc
With all the information we have, the ratio can not equal 1.5:1 anymore. However, this does not mean that the PS4 has not increased the sales gap. A ratio of 1.3:1 would mean that the sales gap has grown to 500k, instead of the 330k it was before.
I would take that bet, but it seems you don't know what you're talking about, so I'd rather not give you an embarrassing avatar.
