Well, half of his stuff is complaining about a completely legal formation (which is now illegal after the season ended) and "gasp" steroids in the NFL!
Along with the fact that "spygate' was debunked a while ago, and that the NFL showed those "burned tapes" to the press.

The point is that there is no use in counterarguing someone who is so stuck in hate and unable to use a different perspective. Half the stuff he listed is completely clouded and wrong anyway. There's no reason to argue with someone like that.
As a Hawks fan, I am an ostensible victim of the cheating, but I don't think they should have the victory taken away or even asterisked, they'd likely have won (all other things being equal) anyway, but it would be great if just one single Patriots fan could actually just admit they cheated a bit, without qualifying it with tortured logic and "so-whats."

People need to let it go. There wasn't evidence back then, there won't be now. Patriots won, suck it up and worry about your own team.

Cheating formations? Come on now, that is just whining... Absolutely zero cheating in their formations. None.

Equipment tampering...so no real evidence, just that it was "probable." No court of law will convict you on that. The ironic thing is that it supposedly happened in a game where the Patriots stomped the opponent and actually played better in the half with the "re-inflated" balls. And of course the Super Bowl had independently provided balls so no controversy there.
It boggles my mind how much people hate the Patriots because they are straight up winners. Yes, the rest of the NFL is sterling and the Patriots are lowlives. Ok.
Tom should be suspended and heavily fined. Not sure the equipment guys should be hit hard since Tom was obviously leaning on them. Don't feel the patriots as a team should be punished.

While Brady should definitely be punished. The organization, which has empowered the cheating and murdering culture, should bear some culpability.
What's actually going to happen is the equipment manager will be fired and Brady will get a fine that's smaller than the amount of change in his couch.

Ok, as a pats fan what they did at spygate was cheating by the (newly, just made that year) rules. But the punishment and misinformation about what spygate was is insane. "Secretly taping practices and signals" lmao.
As for this, the report seems weird. Colts balls were under inflated too Apparantley. Those texts are weirder. Don't know what to say.

The really weird part is how the differences between the two measurements with regards to the Pats balls is pretty consistent across all the balls but with the four Colts ones the difference is reversed for three of them. Flip those numbers around and everything listed there fits a clear pattern. Wonder if some of those Colt balls have the numbers backward.

The Patriots will always be the target of insane scrutiny from the public after the spy gate allegations. When people see a team do really amazing, and then get a hint of possible bullshit they go at it. Even if those initial notions are proved false, it's human nature to keep with those original feelings and convictions even with contradicting evidence that disproves it.
When other teams cheat, be it doctoring the football IN the Superbowl like Brad Johnson or pumping in noise there isn't much of a reaction other than "lol w/e". But if Brady admitted to what Johnson did in 01/03/04 it would be chaos.
I don't see many people freak out over the insane use of stick'em back in the day and if it tarnished the sport and all those amazing superbowl runs. I don't see many coaches freaking out about it, the sport isn't reacting to it like this is some major revelation, mostly because every team does it's own thing to skirt the rules.
Just like Baseball, everyone uses grip or some pine-tar, nobody is going to call you out on it unless you are so fucking obvious with a giant glupe of it on your glove or stuck in your ear.
So is Brady probably guilty to a degree, yea most likely. Just like Pete feeding his whole team roids and getting a ton of suspensions a few years ago, or the Falcons pumping in noise, or the Rice using stik'um, or Johnson paying off equipment managers to buff the balls.

My bet is Brady wanted them at minimum. If that meant the ball boy had to deflate them in a bathroom at the last minute then that's what happened. Cheating? Yeah probably.
I'm just like any fan/hypocrite. Chastise the Yankees for years on end for the outlandish spending to win a championship but when the Sox do it I let it slide.
I root for a silly uniform just because these teams play within a 20 mile radius of where I was brought up. It would take the downing of an opposing teams plane before I say "Alright that was a little much, give us the loss."
