Ahhhh ok, more stuff I get to miss out on. These last 30 days of deployment (10 months total) are going by entirely way to slow. I already missed out on all those audio files that everyone keeps talking about as well.

That's what you get when you go to huntthesignal.com now, at least, it's what I get. If your phone doesn't have a compass you can plug in 27, 117, 248 (I think) manually.
I get the compass on the desktop mode of my windows phone and on mobile phone, I get the check in window

Not so much the literal gauntlet, but applying the idea of a gauntlet to the whole suit; hit harder, be tougher, etc. "Stolen" refers pretty clearly to a Spartan conducting unauthorized activities, which has some interesting implications in and of itself.
