Do we really need two Samuel L. Jacksons walking around?
I agree 616 Fury Jr. is redundant.

During the timeskip.
If he did hint at something in X-Men it went over my head. I hope he will elaborate in those three issues, but man, i wish they wouldn't start the big event with some titles so hopelessly behind the schedule.Bendis may have hinted at the Phoenix Egg at the end of Uncanny X-Men #32 so we still might get to see some development towards that in the three issues (34-35 & 600) we have left.
I think Hickman's Avengers #38 was the first time we actually saw Cyclops during the Time Runs Out arc and this was also the first mention of the Phoenix Egg. And then he appears again in Avengers #42 where we actually see the Phoenix Egg.
So what everyone's guess about the state of the post SW universe? Incorporate characters from 1610 and 616 into one world? How long until parallel worlds start cropping back up and it's back to business as usual? 6 months?

When was the time skip? Avengers were in future from every other title for some time now?
I think i really need to read Hickmans Avengers and New Avengers...
Is there more current reading list than this? https://i.imgur.com/OMvXvhU.jpg

I found the reading list in hickmans avengers ot, as linked in the first post, thanks! The two Hickman Avengers titles have been 8 months ahead of everything else since last October. You can get an updated reading list from the first page of this thread I believe.
Yeah, they themselves tu fucked some things up, like previously mentioned costume (spiderwoman) and power (gamora) mistakes . But it was a monstrous task, I agree.Eight months ago, if memory serves.
Was quite the clever trick that Hicks found to force every other writer to fix their shit in order to line up with the megaevent.

The most important Secret Wars book.
What i got from all of that is that 1. Cyke is FAR too trusting of strangers with his offspring to ever be considered a good father
and 2. If cyke and jean were indeed legit in the future raising Cable, why would he ever go back to the past to tell them they were shitty parents?
Also 3. never travel via Rachel Timelines.
if kurt could take talia under his wing and care for her like his actual daughter while she was in the 616, then surely scott could be a dad to mutant jesus
Oh hell yea!The most important Secret Wars book.
Except she's just the same person using her real name instead of a pen name lol.@bleedingcool: Chloe Poillerat To Replace Marguerite Sauvage On Secret Wars: 1602: Witch Hunter Angela http://t.co/6wi8Dbx51a
Bleeding cool always on point:

Namor and Thanos as well.So Female-Thor, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Mister Fantastic, Black Panther, Cyclops, Star-Lord, Manifold are the only 616 survivors?

EDIT: Forgot about The Cabal. They are from the 616. But they didn't have a Life Raft so I don't know how they would have survived.
That would be crazy. Wonder how the survivors were chosen.Teen Jean Grey too maybe but hasn't been confirmed yet.
How did Doom survive though? I thought him, Strange and Molecule Man were wiped out by the Beyonders.Namor and Thanos as well.
Doom made it out too.
Yeah, I'm not getting how The Cabal could survive. Never showed them having any ship or something..Yes. I don't know what's up with Silver Surfer though as I don't read his book (I do remember some solicits that had him remaking the universe or some such).
And even though we didn't see a lot of characters die, you just have to assume they are gone because....well, the universe has been wiped.

On the page where you see the life raft lifting out of the Baxter Building, look at the 3rd panel at the top. It's The City's roof opening, and coming up, is another life raft, looking damn near the same. 2 Life Rafts, U Reed and the Cabal are still around. 99.99999% sure U Spiderman jumped onto it at some point.
I know Googleplex has a like a Scott Summers-alarm everytime we mention him in Comics-GAF, but he seems to think everyone hates Cykes. Which is not the case; but I just find it hard to really care for the character for the last couple of years. He's absolutely right about mutants not being accepted or getting any help from governments around the world, but I just don't agree with his methods how to help his own cause. That's all. I think you described it best by calling him a bit ruthless, but I'd leave the "bit" part. His actions post AvX are somewhat weird. Didn't he somewhat agree with the viewpoints during one of the last Uncanny X-Men issues while talking to Havoc?outside of "possessed by the phoenix and killing xavier" I can't really think of anything. A bit ruthless, but that's about it.
They do have a life raft. Ultimate Reed basically says something along the lines of copying something but making it better at the same time 616 Life Raft is lifting off.

I'm also sure Manifold didn't make it. He stayed behind to get Cyke onto the ship.
Nice catch. The art and colouring aren't doing the comic any justice. On the page where you see the life raft lifting out of the Baxter Building, look at the 3rd panel at the top. Anyway, I understand why he's using the Phoenix egg during the final incursion as one last resort; but I don't know if he keeps it when he's brought aboard the raft. If he retains it's powers, I wouldn't trust him. Well the Phoenix I guess.

I assume something went very wrong during their battle with the Beyonders. The final pages of SW #1 shows Doom and I believe it's his dialogue at the end; he became something more and it wouldn't surprise me that he's the one to create Battleworld. How did Doom survive though? I thought him, Strange and Molecule Man were wiped out by the Beyonders.
Issue is kind of confusing as I'm going to mention further on.
So we're meant to believe they just destroyed both worlds, right? Is everyone in the 616 that wasn't on the raft dead then?
And by the account, is the U universe destroyed as well?
I never even saw her in the issue.
I saw a brief moment with her U version. But I think the U X-men died, didn't they?

Manifold is an asshole. Teleported Star-Lord and left Drax and Gamora standing right next to him.
There's the theory that everyone actually lived and that Doom is a god again.
Doom is always right. The trains are always on time when Doom is in charge.
...Did you not get to the last page of the issue?
Well it's obvious everything is gone now with the all white backing and the RIP.
My dream is to Have Peter and Silk raising Miles and MC2 Ben Parker. That family would be so diverse it would hurt.
Black Panther. Definitely.I know Hickman is taking a Marvel break after Secret Wars, but what series would everyone like to see him write next?
I think he writes a really fun Spider-Man and it would be interesting to see him apply his style to the series. And anything to get rid of Slott.
I'm not even sure X-man knows who his "parents" are, let alone Scott. Wasn't he dating madelyne pryor at one point, who's a clone of his mother? That whole line is just wrong wrong wrong
Black Panther. Definitely.

Has future Franklin Richards shown up in Avengers or New Avengers? I can't remember.

Yerp. Him and Groot. Avengers. Talked to Steve a bit before Cap continued his time-travelling shenanigans.
he hasn't.

This would be glorious.Imagine an entire run of Avengers 40 like moments...
Hickman has written Black Panther better than anyone else ever has, regardless of what has happened to him and Wakanda in this run. Speaking of which, I'll be surprised if Wakanda isn't restored (and Namor gets his comeuppance) once Secret Wars is over, what with him having a movie coming out and all that."Hey, how about we put the guy that utterly and completely shafted Tchalla... in charge of writing Tchalla's solo ishs?"
actually...
beaten to it! Future Franklin has indeed shown up, spouting cryptic things. The groot cameo was great though.
