Thing is , and that is not some poor attempt at fueling system wars and such, that some titles (like DAI for example) that run in 1080p on PS4 do indeed have a bit worse framerate than they do in XB1 where they run in lower res. That is a fact, it is not debatable. Some people might not notice DAI droping frames, I on the other hand do. And i am not trying to notice them either, its apparent. It doesnt bother me a lot (i clocked more than 200 hours on DAI) but i wont pretend it is not there.
This is not the rule though as there are a lot of examples that ps4 also had better framerate in addition to higher res.
Its just that with the very early and initial impressions we have so far in regards to W3, it seems that XB1 seems to deliver a bit smoother experience while sacrificing a bit in IQ department.

Most people don't have capture cards, so Twitch or Ustream are the only options.

Few frame dips here and there with much better IQ is totally worth in DA : I on PS4. Btw. Xbone also is not spared unstable frames in DA despite lower res.
Anyway, COD : AW is patched anyway.

They seem to remove youtube videos and twitch streams of console versions very fast. PC videos remain on youtube though.
I don't think it's a matter of the console versions being bad but maybe CDPR have some kind of nVidia deal if the graphics card bundles are anything to go by.

4:40 In that video is absolutely insane. The way the shadows of the trees on the surface effect the vegetation on the riverbed. Amazing.
And the shadows are also casting on the surface of the water, and continuing through. On PS4. Thats nuts.
Also, Blood splatter is back in? Awesome.

Just watched the PS4 footage on Youtube. Despite being heavily compressed, it does look pretty good. Nice to see the ripples and splashes on water are indeed present. Did anyone notice frame rate drops? I think I noticed a few instances of slow down but I could be because I'm on mobile.

Nah, there were a couple. But I can only assume that the day one patch will fix some issues. We won't know for another 9 days.
Also, holy shit this game comes out in 9 days.
Ah, ok. Glad I'm not the only one. It was most noticeable when Geralt was fighting that group of tiny trolls (?) but definitely nothing major and not something I would likely notice when playing. Still, hopefully it gets fixed

One of Geralt's new powers is the ability to create trees out of thin air.
The trees disappear up close in every version so you can see while fighting. Go watch some PC footage and you will see the same thing.

Like ironcreed says, it is to improve visiblity while in combat so your view is not obstructed by bushes and trees etc.

That is actually there on purpose. Go watch some PC footage and you will see the same. Some trees and foliage will disappear when you get close so you can see while fighting.
I like the fighting, it seems a good improuvement from Witcher 2.
Geralt is moving more smoothly.
I'll gladly trade 5 frames in 5% of the game for 44% more pixels. Sorry if that upsets you.

I change the language in most games with Arabic support to English because of how bad the translation. But the translation here is really good. I'm glad I picked the Arabic version, currently playing in Arabic.

There was a patch at launch and game still have updates to date. Framerate was fine for me.
Btw. MP on Xbone was pretty rough compared to PS4 for what i saw. I don't know how is the situation now.

Framerate feels fine on both versions, but Drift0r has said that framerate is better on PS4 because guns fire at a higher RPM due to having a slightly better framerate.

Are there waters with sharks ? Does the game pull a Crysis if the player wanders too far into the ocean ?
