Cake is too anime, withdrawing my pledge

I'll probably end up backing this but I'm not a fan of that first stretch goal. A first stretch goal that's only beneficial to those who back at the $150+ level is a questionable decision if you ask me.

I surprised myself, had to jump in for $175.

Expected to cap it at $100.
Though I really would love to get a Ring of Iga, can't drop $7.5k right now. Heh.

In 3 hours, half a million is pretty strong. And that's just the initial backing. This will go for a month, and then of course there's also actual game sales. I'm sure Konami will indeed be weeping by the time this is over. Your sarcasm is misplaced.

They literally won't be upset at all. They're out of this because they're tired spending money on big games. If it's a success, they'll see it on a newspaper headline and disregard it.

It really, really isn't their business anymore. Unless they want to try and sue Iga or something.

Physical edition right from the start? Color me impressed.

I'll back it.

They mention discs, but hopefully I don't get burned with a better physical edition right out of the gate, ala MN09.

You say that now until E3 hits and Konami announces Circle of the Moon 2!

Wow, my phone couldn't really load any of the kickstarter's images, so going by this thread, I figured that the art was some generic Lords of Shadow looking crap.
The actual art looks far more in line with the Castlevania spirit, and Miriam is a qt. That's the last time I listen to gaf about these things.
Then again I also don't think MN9 looks all that bad so maybe I'm just a pleb.

Anyway, 3 cheers for stupidly quick funding. I'm so hype rn (✿´‿`).

Not into the art direction. At all.
The continued animefying of the art pretty much pushed me out.

Unfortunately, I agree with this. The villain from 'Curse of Darkness' - Isaac - really left a bad taste in my mouth.

C'mon now - admit it. That ridiculous outfit is more funny than scary.

Nonetheless, I backed this at $28.

Damn, i was gonna make my contribution when i got back but lol, they already funded it. I wanted to be a part of the initial run. ;_;

Oh well, how much to back. Some of those higher ones seem kinda fun.

They did mention there was already a financial backer, but that entity wanted to see what the fan reaction was going to be before fully committing to the project.

Honestly, I'm not surprised the KS met goal and did it rather quickly, but it seems like the accountants and purse string holders need that in black and white. KS has replaced the power point presentation that VCs and other moneyhats believe in.

The $300 is rather tempting. Maybe go for one tier and up it later on?

That's awesome that it got funded so quick. Still throwing some money in when I can to support Iga.

The Miriam with the PS4 picture is freaking adorable by the way.
