Wouldn't the guy who can turn into a flying gas cloud and the girl who can teleport eventually make it back to society if they were free to roam the island?
If i remember correctly, gas cloud guy can only turn into gas for a short amount of time. For teleporting girl, she can only teleport if she has a visual on her destination.
Barry going back in time to fight Zoom results in Zoom never stealing Wells' identity so we end up with the real Harrison Wells to run STAR labs next season.
I don't know if this was already discussed (there's been like 10 pages of thread since yesterday), but what do we think about the chronology of this episode? Specifically, how does Oliver just leave Nanda Parbat? Does he tell Ra's? When does he pick up the nanites from Palmer? Isn't Palmer still sleeping? Does he just steal it? How does he know which one to steal and what it does if that's the case?
Also, planes aren't supposed to be vulnerable to lightning strikes. How did Weather Wizard even know where it was, anyway?

It takes place before the finale. the timelines aren't matched up anymore, that's why Oliver mentions needing a favor from the Flash. Probably occurs when he came for Nyssa.
It does raise the question of why Ray would make him special arrows, but it could probably be hand waived away as "prep time" and he's had them them on hand just in case.

Why wouldn't he? I'm assuming it absorbs Barry's speedforce. So it's useless for Wells to take it. This way it might still be charged untill the team realizes it and even then it can be always retrieved if he wants to. Plus he built it. Doubt he has just one.
Dreamscenario for season 2 or rather creatively trying to keep Cavanagh around:
The reverse-Flash actually gets crippled and has to use the wheelchair. He stays at Star Labs, constrained to a few rooms and continues working there. He helps Barry, but is obviously biding his time for a comeback
Yeah I just assume everything that happens is part of wells plan. He's doing something with the particle accelerator and now he's captured and going to be locked in the pipeline? Yeah he knows what he's doing.
Wells is a genius super villain who hinted at having fought the Justice League. He's likely had combat training or at the very least years of experience.
The people complaining Captain Cold's powers are too weak really don't get the character. He doesn't need to be OP when he's got Heat Wave, Golden Glider, Weather Wizard and whoever else backing him up. He's a team player. Add to that he doesn't really want to kill Barry.
Captain Cold is a highlight for how over the top evil Miller makes him. He's like a cartoon villain, I don't mean that in a "simplistic" way, I mean that like he seems like he's from Justice League Unlimited or something, but live action.
Eobard (stop calling him Wells people, he isn't Wells ) is just biding his time, you think Arrow, Flash and Firestorm beat him? - its all part of his plan, he let himself get knocked out.
Quick question (no spoilers please), does the last aired episode of Flash take place before the upcoming episode of Arrow or after?
If it's after, I'll just wait until I've watched arrow. Thanks for your time

Theoretically, you might want to wait till after arrow for a small tiny tidbit at the very end pf the Flash episode. But in the long run I don't think it's that big of a deal if you know it ahead of time or not.
Ollie tells Barry he might need a favor. That's it.
That's true. I do like that the show has been establishing different ways to counter speedsters, so Flash doesn't seem completely unstoppable. Nanites, forcefield, power dampener, kinetic spike grenade, ice gun, etc.
Good episode. Cold is cool as always and it's fun seeing him stay true to this character of outmaneuvering the Flash. It seems kind a stupid Eddie would just break up with Iris now of all times considering she looked like she was going to accept his proposal. I enjoyed the fights in this episode playing off the powers of everyone involved and foreshadowing possible team ups in the future. I was surprised however that Wells was "caught" as I anticipated he would actually win against Barry, Oliver, and Ronnie. The finale however, looks to be way more over the top than this one. I really can't wait!

So... I have to go with a theory everyone here has, with a twist...
I do thing Flashpoint is incoming, but I also think it allows us to see a world where Superman exists.
As per the Supergirl "trailer",
we now have to somehow accept that Superman has been a factor on the world stage for years... and yet Oliver and Barry have not only never said a thing, BUT their respective shows have had them be their world's first contemporary vigilantes, and meta-humans.
Also, as per Steve Amell implying
that his show becomes "The Green Arrow" next year
, and Legends of Tomorrow allowing us a shared continuity filled with even more aliens and time travelers [Hawkgirl and Rip Hunter], makes me feel like the entire DCTVU is about to change dramatically.
