Saying now

Eddie is going to be Reverse Flash

a secret-boss 5/19/15

I mean, yeah. Probably the Zoom version.

"I was there in that singularity for so long, Barry. You passed me by. Left me there. I waited and you never saved me. I had to save myself. You've found a better life with Iris. My life, Barry. And I've come to take it back. I've come to make you a better hero. So you can save everyone."

Man, I got a spring in my step a moment ago and I wasn't sure why.

Now I know. Good luck in your future endeavors!
Lmao.

So am I the only one who is still sad that Eddie died? (Or maybe just on a long hiatus until he come back in some form)

Like half way through the season, he got some great character development. At the end he became one of the more likable characters in the show. Even when he said he wanted to be Iris' hero. Let's be real. He died trying to save Barry.

Eddie is a real fucking bro. I'm going to miss him.

Though I would laugh my butt off if he come back later on as
a hero or villain called Wild Card/Anomaly lol that would be so fucking dope.

But what the heck was around his neck when he got sucked in the wormhole?! We need to find out!!

Shouldn't Wells have already known about Cisco feeling the other alternate timelines via his cameras?

He said he had his suspicions so perhaps it wasn't until then he realized that it wasn't some weird ripple effect that happened to Cisco on accident. It's BECAUSE Cisco has this power that he is able to see into other timelines.

Is it sad I still believe Wells should be in this series even if it is the most sloppy correction of all time. I enjoyed his interactions with the group and I am super sad to see him killed off again.

He will be a series regular in season 2

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
I find cliffhangers like this really frustrating in 2015, it feels so old fashioned. Especially if Barry succeeds and it's back to the status quo by the end of s02e01.

I'm not really sure what people wanted out of a season finale. Did you want Wells to disappear and for Barry to put his arm around Iris and say, "Hey babe, let's go to Big Belly Burger. I worked up a hunger traveling back in time."?

You had this season's story basically completely resolved in the finale and, in the last few moments, they established just what they were going to do in Season 2. It's perfect.

A season finale without an ending like this is what we got on Arrow last week. That shit could have been the series finale.

Wait so was future Barry just present Barry after some years? That is the only reason I can see for him to tell present Barry not to save his mom. According to Thawne Barry's mom wasn't supposed to die that night if it wasn't for him.

This timeline must be post-flashpoint, after Barry goes back and fixes the timeline by letting his mother die. Thus that future Barry knows to wave off our Barry from trying to save her.

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?

Well my girlfriend and I both burst out laughing when she asked that. Like, what?

I know it was for the benefit of the audience who might not know but they made Caitlin look foolish there.

I'm feeling dumb right now and this is probably a stupid question but -- If JD's brother never existed, why does The Flash still exist? Shouldn't he have vanished with him?

My god. What an episode. WHAT A SEASON! It had everything.

The feels were intense ;_;

Barry ran into the sky like

Ifwb.gif

Barry went Pa Kent on himself like

and Eddie saved everyone from Wells like

tumblr_mlbfs4YdOC1qf8dx0o1_400.gif

What if Eddie was meant to do what he did? This is a stretch but didn't Wells imply that Eddie making Detective was the significant highlight of his life? He never married Iris, he was never promoted, etc. We were lead to believe this is because he was worthless, but what if this was instead because he
killed himself?
There has to be more to this than has been revealed, because it still hasn't been explained how and why Eddie was his insurance policy. For all we know, Eddie enters the worm hole and is displaced in the future and in actual fact becomes Eobard Thawne. Hence by shooting himself, he erases his future self.

The likelihood of this is incredibly low, just consider this the insane ramblings of someone working concurrently on four major assignments.

Off topic, but can someone PLEASE edit the Last Guardian in here for a E3 gif. So it will look like Barry is traveling into the future when TLG finally gets announced lol.

Given how catastrophic it could have been (and was) I am surprised the heroes went through with the plan. Seemed too risky for too little reward.

And I'm not sure why it seemed like they were even going to let Wells go in the first place.

It's...hard to say. It's possible that Wells wasn't really erased at all but was simply transported somewhere. The Eddie of this timeline didn't create the Wells in this show. That was another Eddie Thawne.

Yeah, I really don't see why they built him a time machine. Like, he told them how to open up the wormhole, and how to close it, and he was in his cell when Barry started running. So... maybe just don't let him out?

The wormhole looks more stunning than the Avengers wormhole.

How does Thawne become a paradox in Flashpoint again? It seems like this would be another one of his endgames.

Scrolled through the thread but didn't see anyone had posted that past Barry has a different colored Flash symbol.
