Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (eff you Konami, it’s Kojima’s,) has been rated by the Australian classification board ahead of its release this Autumn.

The Aussie ratings board has give Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain a ‘restricted’ rating which means that it’s only suitable for those over the age of 18. Understandable really as the game is pretty violent according to the ratings board.

The ratings board also makes not that the game features mild nudity and moderate sexual themes along with the aforementioned violence.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain hits PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 this September 1st with a PC release on the 14th.

Also, "moderate sexual themes"... I wonder if that is equal to or goes beyond the whole Eva & Big Boss romance, the love box with Paz (or Kaz), or maybe... JUST MAYBE we'll get to witness another Kaz & Big Boss naked shower brawl.

From memory, the rating specifically came from this scene, it's not visually NSFW, but I wouldn't want my coworker to hear it so beware.

Though that footage is taken of the PS3 version that is rated PG. That either shows the ratings board is stricter or they are actually paying attention to the games going through now.
