NeoGaf already has rules certain members need not abide by.
Look how many pages have already been ripped apart literally deleted and members banned for asking about a topic that was removed.

Amirox gets demodded for editing past posts, rips off $10,000 from the community, does a SINGLE day in rehab and it's all smooth no questions asked, well definitely no real solid answers besides a photo.

Other guy gets banned for calling someone out for sexual harassment.

Censorship is already real.

It's not censorship. It's normal conversation whereby being inarticulate or uninteresting, get ignored.

The Amir0x thing is troubling, especially after the, "an entire room in my house went on fire." thread. Not a single thing he said matched up with fire department procedure, especially during cold weather.

I'm saying that general conversation and social cues would weed out the bullshitters, the astroturfers, the trolls, the holier than thous, the race batters, and the general idiots better than what GAF does now.

Now that I've taken two seconds to think about what I've said, that sounds like censorship, but considering that there'd be free form conversation in a podcast, I don't think ignoring or discrediting a fact, anecdote, or situation would technically be censorship.

Not sure I understand this thread, but I did wish there was a way to have my phone read each thread out loud to me, while I'm driving or something and can't read the thread. Voiceover can kind of do this, but not well enough.
