Sorry, Aostia, but it can be a reference even just by stating part of the
quote. It can be done through the alternation between posts too.
Usually, when that happens, it can be funnier than just quoting the whole thing.
I don't see how those can't be considered references. Still, this thread
demonstrates how Nintendo is putting effort in promoting the game, especially in not-so-obvious ways

Inklings have a Squid form, it checks out.

You might notice, for example, that the amiibo packings clearly say "Inkling [Boy/Girl/Squid]"

I took this pic yesterday. Up here in Canada there's been tons of marketing for it. Every Best Buy, EBgames, and Source shop has promotions for it.

I hope the game sells well. It seems to have the art style to attract kids.
