PlayStation E3 Experience 2015 Announced (Theaters)

For those who successfully registered, but still haven't gotten an e-mail yet (like me), we probably shouldn't be too worried, even if it never arrives. Last year when I went, they didn't want to see any printed e-mails. All you did was go up to them, give them your name, and they looked to see if it was on their list.

Was finally able to get some for the SLC location. Hyped for this. Still haven't gotten the email but I screen shot everything and emailed and text those screenshots to the people coming with me :)

After seeing "SOLD OUT" for San Francisco, I kept refreshing and eventually got in. Well, it says I registered successfully at least. So... Don't give up!

I kept refreshing for the Toronto show and it let me register one ticket. But then on the info page it would only show US States and no provinces so it wouldn't go through.

So I just selected California, googled a random California zip code and it went through...

Easy there, tiger. They're still free, just saving a percentage for people who wait in line without a ticket.

Don't you need to get into the waitlist for that?

Eighty percent of theater capacity will be reserved for ticket holders, with 20% of the theater held for those on the wait list, who will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. We saw the big lines last year and want to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to be in the theater.

May I ask what your email says?

I didn't get an email and am curious if it has any additional information (besides the confirmation number).

Sure,

thats what i got, the black boxes signify the name and the confirmation number

I took a screenshot on my phone for the Seattle session. No email yet. Really should have been paying better attention in that meeting but had the site running on two browsers on my computer and on my phone. The phone got through.

Just as I suspected! A bunch of timed out tickets are re-entering the pool!

See yea at SF fellow Gaffer!

nice... so it looks like the site was telling people "Sold Out" so they would stop hammering it

you get your email yet?

No, it literally just went through two minutes ago. I had to fuck around with the address since they didn't give the option of a province, though. Don't remember if that was an issue last year as well.

How it works:

When you select how many tickets you want and go to the registration screen, it holds those tickets for you for a set period of time. People who quit, get an error, or refresh again are put back at the start where they must get new tickets, but their previous tickets are still being held - they will be released after a set amount of time and put back into the pool to pull from.

Yeah, 30 minutes of timeout for the tickets is just too much, so there are many "floating tickets" in sessions that are going to expire...

I was able to get a ticket for myself and three other friends who weren't having luck. 1 ticket at a time. Kept refreshing after seeing "sold out". Gotta be persistent

I've entered my info to register three times now, but the furthest I got is the error page. I wish they'd add a theatre in the GTA next year.

It's an error. Toronto is sold out. I think they oversold it? Who knows.

I see that page, I can get all the way through completion but the page gives an error at the confirmation page.

Keep trying though!

Well i got on waiting list...just hoping I could've gotten an actual ticket

i see... so it looks like whatever is turning up now is mainly from those 30 minute "on-hold" tickets that werent acquired and went back into the pool

whoa...just kept refreshing i got two tickets for me and my friend in NYC Union Square. And I have three windows open for registration. I don't want to exit because I know how rough this shit was. Anybody want the tickets?

Just got a ticket and would like to know if any fellow Gaf members from the PHX area will be attending?

So what does it look like for Toronto gaffers? I got two waiting (for a friend and I) and a confirmed ticket (for me), but no emails for any of it.

What on earth?

Went back for giggles ... and It let me register and gave me a registration number??

They flipped the "sold out" switch to get people to back off?
