Well they have their hands full with the expansion and Dark souls 3 was hinted at long ago, hopefully they can take a break after that with some other game. But alright why not now, the angry people want their spells and fashion.

This seems about right timing wise, E3 announce, early-mid 2016 release. From has mastered the quick turnaround on the Souls series, so nothing here is surprising if true.

The big question is which conference is shows at.

Not true. Miyazaki is working on Bloodborne expansion right now. In addition, it is very likely that the B-team will continue the Dark Souls franchise, whereas Miyazaki will create new IPs.

I doubt Miyazaki directing because there's only so much a human can do.
It would make sense that the DS2 director is doing this. And there's an expansion coming for Bloodborne.

Bloodborne took it to another level. Going back to sword and board in a slower fighting system just doesn't appeal to me.

Why are people saying its too soon? From has released like 4 games in the past 6 years. A bunch of dlc and remasters on top of that. The genre for them is going to become an annual thing. It pretty much already is. I would say there is more than 50% chance this rumor is true.

I think a lot of people groaning at this information are forgetting about the millions of people who bought the games on X360 and PC who might have missed out on Bloodborne, while Namco and FromSoft are most definitely not forgetting about all the money laying on the floor waiting to be picked up when From gets back to multiplatform Souls-making.

They have to buff the Souls engine up quite a bit, after Blooborne.

Did he work on the Artorias DLC for DK1? If not, then i guess he pretty much won't work on the Bloodborne DLC, too.
