As much as I trust Bluepoint's competence, its going to be a monumental task to get these games to run at 1080p60 on completely new hardware. Remember these games are absolutely tailor made for Cell and PS3 and afaik ND themselves worked on TLoU RE alone for almost a year.

The game has always had single player skins, and it looks like they say "early access" so it sounds like it just lets you play through the game from the get-go with the skin unlocked instead of waiting until you beat it once.

Ooo I'm very interested in this. Never touched these games on PS3 but after playing The Last of Us I am in. Was Uncharted MP really that good though? I played the demo for UC3 MP but felt nothing from it. I loved TLOU MP though.

Uncharted 2 MP was for me the best last gen along KZ 2 and COD 4 MP.

it's a shame the MP didn't make it. it was one of the most unique in the third person shooter genre with it's fast paced traversal and takedowns. but i'm in it more for the single player anyway. i hope the "improvements" are for the better

No MP bums me out, but I will hope UC4 MP will be as fantastic as UC2 MP (prepatch) and Last of Us.

I hated UC3's MP direction. Too many booster upgrades, loadouts ruined balance and map control, and kickbacks were horribly balanced, it lost the simplicity of the original.

Even with all these improvements I hope there's a classic difficulty mode. I busted my balls on UC1 crushing and would expect others to do the same.

I didn't get my plat in the first game until after I got it in the second game because Crushing was so hard. I had a love/hate relationship with the difficulty in the first game.

Yup. This seems to be true.
As a fellow web developer, sometimes a wrong file is uploaded, or even, for tests matters for just a bright second, it is send to production.. But the damn cache.... A bad cache server could ruin everything.

Not a surprise per say (everyone was expecting it ast this point), but good thing to have out of the way. Sony's gotta have bigger things to deal with at E3 (even though they will mention this for sure).

Yeah, I expect a lot of surprise at how dated Uncharted 1 actually is. As far as shooting mechanics go, they were merely passable for 2007. We've come a long way in 8 years. Hell, Naughty Dog came a long way in 2 years, with Uncharted 2.

Uncharted 1's setpieces are pretty weak, too. The environmental traversal is basic as fuck. Uncharted 1 was neat at the time, but now it just feels like an ancient relic... One that Drake would go on a hunt to dig up.

Just followed up the original "leak" and was 11:29 PM when reported.

Thats why I prefer 24h system, which has less room for this type of mistake

The only developers I'd put above Bluepoint for remastered game treatments are M2 and Hexadrive, and they're not going to be working on a western title like this in the first place.
