Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection announced, October 9th, UC4 MP beta access

They were simple in both 2 and 3.

Play one multiplayer round, play one co-op round. 10 minutes and you're done with online trophies.
No I mean how many ppl actually played the mp extensively vs. Those that played only the sp. I don't think the MP is an popular everywhere as it is on GAF.

Seems like something that I'll wait to get for Christmas and play new games instead in the fall. Great stuff though, I'm most curious about what upgrades the original will have.

It did turn out well, the single player campaigns are superior to how they were on Xbox/360, the Halo 2 remake was very impressive and although the multiplayer was awful for a while it's completely playable now, there's also another game in the collection too.

I agree and disagree. I'm still having trouble with the online aspect but that could also be Aus networking issues cuz our internet speed sucks.

On the other the single player is crafted beautifully. Way better than previous gen Halo games. I believe the single player aspect shouldn't be dismissed just because MP was(?) broken.

If it works it will offer hell of a lot more value.

Yeah, let's play dumb and act like he isn't referring to the broken mess MCC released in.

Tell me about. I'm building a PC with a 980ti during the fall but Uncharted is one of my favorite series. ;_;

All 4 campaign, co-op with friends worked along with Halo 2A, which wasn't just 1080p/60fps bump but entirely redone campaign. Even you ignore all 100MP maps and shitty matchmaking.

There is no comparison of this with MCC value wise.

Not sure what you trying to imply here. If you already own PS4, this literally costs 60$ a bit less if you wait, so how does that stop you financially not building a PC?

And if you dont own PS4, then why you excited about Uncharted?

i don't have a ps4 or a gaming pc.

i can only afford one. well, it's not like i will become poor if i spent money on both, but afford in the sense that it isn't worth it for me to get both. i don't even have time for all the things i wanna do like watching movies or shows or doing other stuff, let alone play on two systems.

add the fact that it's 80 bucks per game here in canada. and a gaming pc can do so much more than playing games. on the same note, i do have a laptop (amd mobility radeon hd 4250 represent!) and i can watch movies on it or surf the net on it. i don't know...i'm conflicted. i do like the playstation games as well. sigh...

Not worth it to you, don't buy it till it's at that 'acceptable value' point.

Sure. I'd love for NDC to include MP or Golden Abyss, but I'm okay without it either. Some games have more content than others despite being the same price point and that's just the reality of things. You ascertain the value that matters to you. I paid $36 for TLoU Remastered, and I'd pay it again.

Thank god, people that enjoy the MCC should write more frequently because there are a lot misinformation about it. The game since day 1 is ok for campaings, and today it is good for MP. And Halo 2 is very impressive remake.. NDC should be at least 30 bucks

Surprised it's all three games, and surprised they announced it ahead of E3 as well. Presumably this is single player campaigns only? If it's the regular $60, I'll buy.

I am glad it's confirmed. I will be buying this day 1. I don't care about mp (never played it) just the singleplayer that is what uncharted games are.

Pre-ordered it in the PS Store (together with Until Dawn).

What is this? Wallet only being charged when the game ships? That is new, I remember paying directly for iSS and TLoU:R. I liked it better when they deducted the amount directly as I don't have my credit card registered and don't want to get an error email cause I somehow spend my wallet cash until the games release.

Can't wait to play through all 3 Uncharted titles though, it's been a really long time since I touched the SP content of UC1-3. Don't know if I try out the UC4 MP Beta later this year, no big fan of the UC MPs.

1080p and 60 fps for all versions?

What about the laggy movement of Drake in Uncharted 1? Are there plans to change Drake's movement from Uncharted 1 with his movement from Uncharted 2?

As a bug Uncharted fan this is rather tempting. However, as a family and working man I know I won't have time to play them.

I know Master Chief Collection was broken as hell, but at least the price was supergood:

-Halo 1
-Halo 2
-Halo 3
-Halo 4
-ODST
-Multi
-Halo 5 Beta

with a price launch of 60€

This collection seems just poor compared to MCC, at least they should throw Golden Abyss in.

I take up issue with this line of thinking. So now we gauge the value of a collection solely on the number of titles included? It's not like three titles is bad, anyway, but it becomes a pissing contest when you say, "Why not include as much as the MCC?" Well, there aren't as many Uncharted games, for one, and who knows why Golden Abyss wasn't included. Even if there were 5, 6, 7 Uncharted games, it wouldn't be feasible to include all of them and it would be equally unrealistic to expect such a large number of titles to be the standard to a collection. Sure, I'd welcome so many games with open arms, but let's be real, this collection isn't poor or substandard.

You're welcome to value this collection as more or less than $60, but let's not make it a pissing contest and compare it to an outlier such as the MCC due to the number of titles included, especially since three games in one is by no means poor. Need I also remind you how bad MCC was upon release? Sure, we don't know how this collection will turn out, but you can bet your ass that I have more conviction in Blue Point games than I do any other company when it comes to re-mastering games.

This is a joke post right? MCC still doesn't work right , there's a thread about recent patch that has fucked Halo 1 multiplayer.

MCC hasn't fully worked since it's release in late October. Had multiple issues with lobbies, multiplayer matches, even doing online co-op for the campaign.

Do you blame Sony and BluePoint for making the decision at what's most important to the franchise? Which is it's singleplayer campaigns.

You get Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta access. And from watching gun play in single player, and their work with TLOU muliplayer it will be vastly Superior in every way.

So I'm glad they decided not to put it in. Who knows, they may patch it in down the line, if there is enough attention. But I think they want UC4 to shine, so it is what it is.

Comparing Nathan Drake Collection to MCC isn't fair, since Im sure Nathan drake collection will actually work.

Posts like these where people are willing to settle for less make me sad. These are two different situations. Bluepoint are an actual port studio with credit and critical acclaim. MCC was outsourced to 3 different studios to make deadline. MCC also has 4 different games + Multiplayer for each + Halo 5 beta.

Saying it still doesn't work shows your ignorance too. The games comparison to Uncharted Collection isn't fair because even without the multiplayer, it has more content. Saying you're glad for half the content doesn't suddenly make it a better deal for your dollar. In fact its worse. Sure its better than "most" remasters but its a damn shame that people are willing to put their expectations and standards so low these days.

These games are over 4 years old. Figure out a way to make all of their content available to us if you're selling a "remaster". Why should I, as a consumer, settle for less if I want to experience my favorite trilogy of last generation again on new gen? Heck the preorder bonus is something that was already in the original game! Also being sure that Uncharted Collection will be "working" is the saddest quote yet. It's just single player, it better work goddamnit.

Best wishes.

It's not what uncharted is known for though. It's a bonus if they included them, but we get UC4 multiplayer beta and that to me will play a lot better than uncharted 2,3 multiplayer. Which in my eyes doesn't hold up against TLOU MP.

With the time limit that they started on this, and seeing the issues MCC had, it's no surprise they didn't include it.

Maybe at a later date?

Also Uncharted 4 is coming early spring 2016. WHo knows how drastic MP of UC4 is from UC2 +UC3.

The series may be known most for the single player campaigns, but the multiplayer components were incredibly popular and long-lasting. I was playing UC2 MP like three or four years after it came out and it was still really easy to find games.

I, and I think a lot of others, would have been really happy if we only got UC2 MP. UC4 beta is cool, but it certainly won't last throughout the five or so months before UC4, and the single player campaigns can be beat in a week at a leisurely pace. People could have been playing UC2 MP for the five months before UC4 and then move to that.

Am I imagining things, or wasn't MCC's single-player fine?

There were frame rate issues and bugs, including save point glitches, so it wasn't perfect by any means, but still playable for most. Hopefully this collection fares better.

Yes for all versions, they are changing alot of stuff apparently.

The team at Bluepoint Games is incomparable regarding their portfolio of ports and remastered releases, and we’ve been working closely with them to bring over our engine to make Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection an exemplary game. That means not only delivering the single-player campaigns of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, and models, but also adding a range of improvements and additions across all three games including Photo Mode and new trophies. We put together the list of these improvements and additions based on countless forum posts, messages, Tweets, and even through personal conversations we’ve had with a number of you over the years. More on these specifics in future updates.

There's no way that all three games are going to be crammed on one disc. As a result, I expect an install of around 100 GB.

Was this always planned for the fall? Seems like an "uncharted got delayed let's make this" which worries me that this could be a complete rush job...

After MCC I'll see waiting to see how this turns out but as someone who only played the original uncharted this looks like a great little package.
