Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection announced, October 9th, UC4 MP beta access

Yeah I figured it was about $60. Sadly how much I make hasn't been adjusted to coincide with the shittiness of our dollar, making $75 games a bummer :(

so hopefully this bombs because the currency is weak?

sometimes i question why i even argue with other people.

your perceived value isn't adjusting to what the value of your money is. it's not worth 75 bucks well guess what, your 60 bucks isn't worth the same 60 bucks as 2 years before. it's now, by us dollar standard, 48 dollars.

shocking, i know.

No Uncharted 2/3 multiplayer according to the box art?

Well, probably for the best with all the glitches/hacks they both had.

Agh, no multi?

I might not get it after all then. That blows. I really wanted to play Uncharted Multiplayer in 60fps...

Awesome, Naughty Dog raises the bar yet again, pretty graphics at 1080p and 60fps wooo! :D
They put themselves in a stricky position though, at this point they pretty much _have_ to get UC4 up to 60fps, everyone that likes UC will have gotten used to 60fps by the time UC4 comes out, and once you go 60fps you really can't go back.

What have they done before? Original and ports.

I don't know what games they've made from the ground-up but HD/remaster-wise they were responsible for:

God of War 1 + 2 HD Collection
Ico/SoTC HD Collection
MGS HD Collection (MGS2, MGS3, and Peace Walker)

are the main ones they are known for, especially Ico/SoTC and the MGS HD. Both were superb with minimal if not zero issues with them (MGS3 did have some framerate drops near the end of the game, though, but as I said minimal issues at best).

Multiplayer has worked fine for me, and you still have 4 single player campaigns

Glad you've enjoyed your purchase, but it seems a bit much to call the MCC the best bang for your buck remaster when there is a thead on here about every other week talking about whats newly broken on it and trying to get refunds.

Great news for newcomers to the series. I wish there was a system in place that lets previous owners get something for it but ho hum.

Will totally pick it up next year. Need to get me U3 plat still :P

Already have the 3 games on ps3. I hope there will be other ways to get into the Beta. If not.. I am going to go for it.

I can't wait to see what they do with Uncharted 1. Its honestly my favorite in the series if I had to absolutely choose. I just love the vibe, setting, jungle and sense of exploration. I dunno. I know U2 and U3 definitely do a few things better, but I just love U1 so much. Lol.

the only positive I can see by the lack of MP is the fact that there will not be any MP trophies, which means I'll be able to get a clean 100% trophy completion for all 3 :P

Also I hope they make U4 MP more like U2 and then have one mode for a power play/kickbacks/loadouts.
Also, I wasn't the biggest fan of sprinting.
I still love U3 mp but I prefer 2's.

No imagination? This year is fucking crazy, man. Bloodborne, Witcher 3, Arkham Knight, Metal Gear Solid: TPP, Persona 5, No Mans Sky, Fallout 4, Xenoblade Chronicles X.... Etc

I think this gen has some good games, but except for No Mans Sky and Bloodborne (which is more of a spin off) you only listed sequels to existing franchises.

Not exactly a good argument for this gen being all that imaginative (not that other gens aren't also filled with sequels of course), haha.

Not to be shitty, but when you rattle off a list of games that are supposed to act as examples of developers' imaginations, maybe don't make six (arguably 7 with Bloodborne) of your eight examples sequels. Unless that was the joke.

EDIT awwww beaten

This collection isn't for me but its cool that they're all bundled together for $60. Will wait to see what other changes they make.

No multiplayer brings sadness, but I'm excited about replaying all the titles before Uncharted 4. I wonder what this means for Uncharted 4's release date- also love that Bluepoint is working on it!

Kinda sad theres no imagination when bloodborne, ori and splatoon release within 3 months of each other but thats getting OT
(͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
