Yeah well, I'd sure hope so? It's supposed to be a new game? The information in the OP makes everything about this sound strangely unappealing.
DS2 have lots of reussed assets from DS1 and bosses.
Looks like the age of darkness finally kicks in meanwhile the dragons resurfaced from their nests to take the world again

doubt they would walk on thin ice like that.I'm going with 'Bloodied Souls'.
Not a 'new' game, but Bloodborne re-jigged just enough to break from the Sony exclusivity contract and allow for a multi-platform release.
This looks so similar to Bloodborne. The weapon looks a lot like the scythe and the usn is sky is similar to that of Bloodborne at the halfway point. I like it.

Don't do this to me.Something about that art design has the B-Team/Dark Souls 2 written all over it.
Some assets, sure. Plenty of weapons. But I can't recall any normal enemies...mind jogging my memory?
And I forgot about the Gargoyles, so two reused bosses. But I can't recall more than that. ><
It certainly doesn't seem a large enough number to warrant explicitly excluding them from a count of DS2's content. It's weird that the DS3 leak does.

He directed Amored Core 4 and the sequel Armored Core: For Answers...I am the bone of my meh.
Seriously, i just can't get excited at how often they are pumping these titles out. Atleast make another new IP. Dark Souls just feels like they are stretching it too far, the antithesis to how Miyazaki usually operates

Dude so this shit is legit?
Pack it up guys I thinks there's enough here to probably confirm now
Don't do this to me.
Ha just take what I said at face value
Now that is absolute horseshit, like they have ported Demons souls to everything right?I'm going with 'Bloodied Souls'.

He did not direct Dark Souls II, he only supervised the work of that team while he was working on Bloodborne. That's a game and a sequel, versus a trilogy and its really annoying....
100 new weapons and 40 new armor sets with returning equipment not counted in that number.
So this is what the Aldia ending leads to huh. Beyond the scope of light, beyond the reach of dark

I didn't even notice the dragons way in the background. Wow. Shit is going down. Literally ending the Dark trilogy with a bangWe all know it'll end in a whimper, no hope left
Don't do this to me.If this is real, Miyazaki isn't directing. That's quantity over quality. Bloated.

15 new bosses = makes me think its an expansion. What the heck is going on? Is this a what if shit hit the fan version of Dark Souls?
Don't do this to me.
Looks a lot like Bloodborne, I loved the game but I wanted the Dark Souls games to be something different aesthetically...
What? Dark Souls has 56 armor sets itself, so 40 doesn't really sound bloated at all.If this is real, Miyazaki isn't directing. That's quantity over quality. Bloated.
Ahhh, Miyasaki's dark souls swan song!
Though I really liked DS2, so we'll see if that 'touch' really does make it noticably, apocolyptically better.
I'm excited.
Lava world doesn't exactly look like anything in Bloodborne, shocker but we didn't go to Hell in that game.
John Harker indeed hinted at a Miyazaki-helmed Dark Souls sequel way back:

This seems to imply that it's the final Dark Souls game, and that Miyazaki's back as director.
Where are people getting that this is an "expansion"?
Oh Praise the Sun. In John Harker I trust.
Miyazaki!!!
