Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

I just dont see any redeeming qualities with the ink brush. Its terrible in up close combat, terrible from afar, the only redeeming qualities it has is that its fast, but whats the point of that when it doesnt lay much ink?

lol everyone already giving up on brush

I'm guilty. Im having fun with it, but there are just too many things that counter it. Like, I think even getting better at it can't stop its limitations and how most of the weapons can beat it out.

My problem is im not the kind of person that would play a support class in other online MP. This weapon feels very situational and would be support? So it's def not something
I would want to main.

I won't give up using it in Turf though. Plus I'll wait and see how the weapon evolves over time as people have more time with it. So my opinions on it aren't absolute or permanent. Hell, the weapon just came out.

It's more along the lines of, well that was unique and fun, now back to my other weapons that can play the current field.

It does splash ink quite fast.

OK, so clearly my list of things to do is:

- Cash in on day one brush users
- Develop brush tech further to catch people dismissing it off guard.

This weapon has the highest skill ceiling in the game. Just messing around with it in Sheldon's back alley has taught me a fuck load.

You gotta jump spam as well

or at least that's what everyone I encounter does lol

Watch, Brush ends up being THE weapon the competitive scene uses, and only those dedicated to Bob Ross's direct connection to God, will rise to the top.

Honestly, I think the brush is good, but there shouldn't be more than one on a team, it's a great way to move on the map quickly

The brush is great. I flanked an entire team charging the back area of saltspray and annihilated them.

Could be better with ninja squid, ink saver main, and maybe speed up?

Alright so one of the biggest strengths of the Inkbrush is the fact that you can infiltrate key areas covered in enemy ink by speeding your way through. That's my primary tactic at the moment.

If anything brush will be viable in splatzones because they will be the first to arrive to the zone, potentially bringing their team with them.

Well that would be something. Imagine if it ended up being consistently deadly with that combo. I wonder if that scenario is likely in the more condensed maps (being able to flank).

Way to go on that move Jintor. You are bad ass. Wish I could have seen that.

Better thread title. I really would love to play this, but I don't have a TV, a Wii U, or an Internet connection in my apartment. So...

I think we can all agree that the brush is by far the worst weapon for any situation besides flanking, its terrible close range, medium range AND long range

Just did pretty good with the brush. I'm gonna make this my secondary weapon after the MG. I don't care if it's bad, but honestly I think it'll end up being ok
