Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

The test dummies in the weapon test course only survive 1 hit more from most weapons with def up (1 or 3 stacks of it). If you use it it's mostly worth just one main ability one.

Thanks. I had a clothing item that rolled 3 defense skills and I thought it was hot shit lol

So I wonder if the idea of "wear what you think looks good" because stat bonuses don't impact things that much, hold true. I've seen it said numerous times.

When I first started, I thought clothes + skills was absolutely key.

If its main ability isn't defense then that is actually very good if you're playing against a lot of .52 Gals.

Main ability was Defense, sadly.

But I'm going to take the info I have now and appraoch my clothes differently.

Back to trying to get good with the paint brush.

The game is fun but can't rate it more than 8/10 imo. Maybe if there was more local options I'd rate higher but as it stands it's alright.

Tbh this is my first day playing. Played for a while.. I'm level 7 my bro level 10, played some single player which I liked. Online is kind of getting old though. Same stages for 3 hours, same modes, same 3 songs, essentially same weapons, same premise. It's fun but I think mario kart is probably my most fun online wii u game.

Also can't play for too long. It seems like it's too colourful and bright. I'm getting serious after images after closing eyes.

And here I initially thought Saltspray was going to be the worst for brushes. Coming down on Heath and TWILT's heads on some Raiden takedown shit is just soo....

Great games SUPERJEM, Rufus, Phoenix and any other Gaffers I played with. I'd play the game all night if I could but I'll save that for tomorrow night.

Put in about 3 good hours just using the regular blaster, tomorrow I'll try a little single player and try using the roller which I think I'll be good with.

I can't believe I'm doing good with the brush. :D

Launched right at me and whooped me lol

YO THE TRUCKS ON MACKEREL ARE THE NEW META

They're very important for the brush. One, moving sprinklers. Two, moving cover. Three, breaking line of sight.

The mindgames are strong on the Port.

EDIT: Four! getting up to high places for ambushes.

Had a few games where I was wrecking with the brush. I do agree that more than one brush is overkill most of the time. I also agree that I kinda wish the brush had the becon. Would make it an even better support weapon. Honestly im just having fun with it I dont care if it's shit im not playing ranked so if im having fun thats enough for me.

I literally supported a four man rush by chilling there chucking sprinklers to help them make lanes to get in on as the truck moved.

New brush strat: circle around people with speed, kill them from behind before they can turn around.*

*Does not work on other brushes.

Man, ninja squid is really helping me out. Thanks for the tip, AzureJ.
On a similar note, getting inkbrush kills feels so good.

Time to eat crow about two things.

1.) on just the game overall. I can't put it down. I was so so on the demo but the game is just really addicting.

2.) motion controls. My friend told me to just try them for a few rounds. I went an hour of being the number one player every single time.

I was in a match with three brushes on my team once (with me having the Aerospray) and I was immediately worried but it ended up being pretty close. The only reason we lost is because one of them disconnected

I want to look into how to do more damage with the swings. It feels like there's a few more times I care to admit to where I have the hit but don't kill them fast enough.

I got so lucky winning 4 splat zone matches in a row. I was 9.5+ SO HAWT so I nope'd the fuck out of the next match to cash in. Got 1400 coins from Judd! Holy shit lol.

BTW Fuck Spyke for charging me 30k for a sweater that I thankfully bought for only 11k.

Fun games peeps. The inkbrush is definitely not that great, but so much fun I really couldn't care less about that. Definitely one of my main weapons from now on. I'm off, bye.

What does the so hawt and stuff mean? My bro managed to make it to 10.5

Played some of the Battle Dojo for the first time tonight. Had a friend over who is really into a shooters to try it out. Plays a lot of Halo and stuff.

It was surprisingly fun. I thought it would be a pretty dull affair of wandering the map slowly, but there are some cool showdowns to be had. You can play it a little like Turf Wars and make a big pool around the balloons and camp your opponent.

He was really complimentary of the game, overall. He really enjoyed the stealth element with the ink and even ninja'd be a couple times with the Aerospray. He didn't like how easy it was to clip the other person's ink and slow down regularly. Expressed a decent amount of frustration with it. He loves running up the walls, however. In the test room, he had so much fun going from platform to platform. He was disappointed when he found out about those barriers.

Played a couple rounds of Turf War to let him see what that was like. This is a really viewer-friendly game. He was really getting into it and was shouting when someone was behind me and stuff.

Wow can't believe we lost cause nobody painted the r
