Splatoon |OT2| Prepare to Dye

Okay, I just faced against a true Brush Pro; he was Japanese and fucking untouchable until I somehow got him with a mine. He dominated, completely destroyed our team singlehandedly. Equips are insane.

His equipment is perfect for the brush.

What the... how in the hell did he achieve that?

Come to think of it, how did they manage to achieve that? They barely have any Turf inked, and that gear is one- and two-star. How did he get slots/rerolls?

He did a good job using that glitch, too bad I was lttp

Yep, those are brush equips, too bad I'll probably never be able to get perfect rolls like that.

Anyways, I've been playing the brush the last couple of hours with a bunch of (mostly) low level users. Bet some of them think brush is OP now since I won all but one match and was leading in points most of the time. Think I'm getting the hang of it, but I'll have to change some stuff up against better players since there is no way I'd get away with some of the crap I was pulling.

So um....
I just thought about something....
Where....
Well...*choke*

Where does the ink come from? I mean they are squids and generate it themselves. It needs to get out somewhere and into the tank, right?

They evolved to be able to transfer via their hands into weapons.

Anybody else experiencing the lack of decent player rotation during ranked matches? At times I'll log in a lobby and get a constant row of of loses or wins.

I think the same reason I constantly seeing 4 lv20s vs newbies, I think matchmaking is broken as hell
it's clearly not random

I best win ranked streak is 11

It took me awhile but I finally managed to get over 1000 points in a turf war match with the splattershot jr.My highest is now 1084 points. I actually hate how laggy this game can get in turf war at times.I played like in at least 5+ laggy matches today. I get destroyed easily in a laggy match.

Finally... After many days I got rank A+... I'm never going to touch that mode again unless I can get a team who I can communicate with.

Maybe now I can work on my sniper skills.

What the... how in the hell did he achieve that?
Brands and grinding.

If he was lucky he could've used that glitch mentioned earlier to help a bit but it wouldn't have been a significant factor if he didn't have a fuckton of cash on hand before the glitch was discovered.

People will eventually catch up due to both Splatfests and how quickly good players can get money in high ranked matches.

My suggestion for playing the inkbrush. Play it like a guerilla fighter, break through lines, you can ink faster than almost any other weapon. Run with speed, when you see a wide open space, throw a sprinkler at one end and ink the other. Eventually you'll fill your special. Then use inkstrike to launch a counter/pincer attack if your teammates need help or just keep inking more areas.

You can win 1vs1 against most guns. Rollers I have no idea how to reliably combat them.

The points skew between kills and turf covering seems messed up. I'm obliterating scores of people while covering as much ground as I can and still only scrape third on the leaderboard. Also, the multiplayer restrictions are completely bananas. Only 2 maps at a time on rotation!? Who thought that was a good idea!?

So far I have to say I'm unimpressed with this game. It's fun and different, the gameplay is neat, but content wise it feels like it's a barely finished game. 5 maps and a single mode at launch. What.

The only purpose of killing is to avoid the enemy from painting, so it won't net you points (except for the splash). Still, seeing a player rank first and have the highest kill count is not rare at all.

I like the idea of restricted map rotations, by the way, it helps plan what gear/weapon I'll be using (which could be solved by equiping inside the lobby, once the map is decided, but well, Nintendo, I guess). It also helps me decide wether I'll play ranked or normal, but that's just me.

There are actually two modes now, but you need to be level 10 to play the other one. There are also six maps now.

Hiding in your ink and jumping out behind an opposing player as they pass by to splat them is probably the most satisfying thing I've done in a video game in over a decade. This game is sooooo much fun.

I ordered a shirt with Ninja Squid from Spyke, since none have shown up in my store since I bought the game. Can't wait to finally have that perk.

lol I knew going back to the 4am pages people would all be like "inkbrush was a mistake" but I have ezito 100% brush winrate (without coffee even)

Getting up in the morning and being stuck in a lobby for two minutes makes me ponder things, so to people who have all the Amiibo; what's your favorite mini game?

I'm getting the most out of Squid Ball so far.
